yeah, apparantly that's where mine is.

Ben at J_Spec has recommended paying to get it moved to Osaka as it will have a better chance of getting on a boat. Still not guaranteed but at least better chances.

should cost about $350

yep same here altho i've decided to wait cause its been sitting there for so long something has to show up ship wise! either way will you be moving it to Osaka? For an extra $600 or so they said they can ship it in a container which will get here sooner.

I have just spoken to ben, I've asked him to find out which port my car is/was at

If it made it onto the ship on the 20/12, then sweet and I'm happy

but if it hasn't made it on, then I'll be investing in a container, i want the car asap

Like I said, depending on where your car is it may have been loaded on 20th, 21st, 22nd or today or even tomorrow. So they may not know yet whether or not it has been loaded.

Don't stress mate.

Richard

yeah I know. its just I'm getting anxious I suppose, I think the clutch is on the way out in the shitebox I'm driving now, I didn't plan on buying it to have to last into 2005 (I bought my R in may and there was no indication of shipping problems at this point)

I would just rather pay to get the car here quicker then to fix this thing up

cheers

Yeah boys! I just got my B/L too. Car is on the way. Not bad, a december build car on the last boat in December! I hadn't expected to be shipping it until Jan when I bought the car earlier this year, but everything has run very smoothly. Only hic-up has been the change in Kiwi pricing/delivery policy.

Merry christmas all.

Richard

Mine is also on the ship but will I get this B/L sent to me, or will it go to the customs agent in Brisbane?

I assume everything gets done up there before getting trucked to the owners state?

Either way can't wait for late Jan, been hangin to drive my baby!

My surrended B/L was sent to both me and my customs agent. The customs agent is the one who needs it, i guess i got a copy just to confirm that the car had shipped

I have been told that my car was on the ship (the prince) they think. they are having problems contacting the agent in japan as he's and aussie an is on holidays.

Just waiting for the B/L now. should have it next week I'm told. this is a huge relief as I hsould have the car on the road by the end of jan and be able to do my drivers course in feb that I have paid for :)

Yeah i have received my bill of lading now. It is such a relief to receive this when you have been waiting so long for a car.

Received mine on Boxing day.. My supplier must take holidays :)

my car has been in brisbane waiting to clear customs since the 14th December. I will know what's happening tomorrow hopefully when i contact the shipping agent.

Is anyone else having this problem? damn xmas period

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
