What sort of question is that...

I say all our cars are big head turners... Just for dif reasons..

Sorry, but my opinion.... you can come barging into the fourms and start asking for the best car here.

Have a look at some of the pics, then pm them and ask if they can take you...Which all of us are kind enough to say yes.

Clearly i have annoyed quite a few of you by making enquiries for a formal car.

Sorry for any offence i have caused anybody. I tried going about getting a formal car in a nice enough way, so i thought anyway. But now im being accused of just barging into a forum and annoying people.

It was just a general question to see what was available to me & yes of course i would be willing to pay.

Anyways.........like i said, sorry!

Hey WetYet, dont sweat it.

It's fine mate. Best place to come looking for many great looking rides. Most of the guys here have done a fair few this year so far and prolly just getting a tad tired, like me.

I cant speak for all but I reckon most are doing 2-3 a week for the last cuppla weeks. A fair bit of effort if you consider we knock off work, race home and spend ages on the cars cleaning them. Do this s few times a week and you soon get over it.

Most of us love doing the runs as we see a lot of mates and a lot of good cars.

If you check the posts here you'll see a fair few asking, plus our freinds, family and other skyline owners as favours etc.

I have 2 next week but none the following week, I'm in the midst of trying to get work done and a tune on my girl.

I have a GTR R32 and is fine for the Job you want. PM me if your keen and we'll roll on the 13th.

EDIT: Offer withdrawn. No more formals for me after Wednesday this week.

PS. Suggest if you got the time check out Hawkers next week as we have a big number of lines doing that one. See one you like and speak to the driver. We always park afterwards and have chat.

holy sh*t dude are you serious????

i know some of us dont even charge, just so we can help out some yourg guys who would like a nice car to drive them to their formal, if i earnt more money i wouldnt charge at all, but i havnt charged more than $20

Call me names but I have not charged nor received a cent.

Except two years back a girl offerd me s3xual favours - Nah she actually slipped a fiddy in the consol. We did a Photo session it was kind of neat she was keen on my ride.

Called me twice to go for another cruise with a freind of hers on the week end. Just loved the Skylines.

It'd be nice to be offerd fuel money cause it gets exy but thats not my motivation.

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
