Duncan, I'll be there but I may be late (very likely).

Just spent $1 768 934.29 on new brake pads so I'm not going to miss this one.

I'm bringing a pyrometer as well for those who want to see what their tyres etc. are doing.

:burnout:

Now you've totally ruined my day!!!

Hail NUR spec.... I'm not worthy...

Sure was genuine, belongs to Peter from Powerplay Imports. Apparently it goes alright, too!

Dino, did you have those temps from my tyres?

Just got home - installed CORRECT rings on pistons at workshop (and replenished lost bodily fluids) on the way.

Missed my car, missed my co-driver, didn't miss having a good time though - passenger with an EC newbie in WRX, toooottally sideways fullllllllll oposite lock through turn 8 ..................................................................high speed ................................and he put the boot in and in and in and saved it .......BALLS!!!!

Passenger with fatz - how come you have to wave at allllllllll the cameras when you are sideways, or is it cos' you can.

As usual a good day.

DON91E and tactic, you should have come up and said hi. Did one of you own the Blue 32?

Duncan, I'll send you the temps later.

Sorry I didn't make it to the pub this time (again!) guys. That traffic looked like a turd and as it was I was late for dinner.

Dang!!!

...those piccies are the money, now left with hollow, inadequate feeling that i cant do that!

Course you can mate... just need to practice. I have been practicing for the last few track days (3 sets of rears) and am not as good as fatz, but I'm getting better.

Just follow him for a few laps and learn the lines, then ask him how he does it!

Looking forward to the 19th... hopefully I won't get tyre issues... found that drifting on steel belts is really, REALLY easy... like you don't even have to try... right dad!!!

Howdy people. Ben here (the guy in the blue WRX).

Big thanks to everyone for a cracker of a day last Thursday.

Special thanks to Simon for his instruction and nearly putting me into a wall on my second ever lap of EC. :D

Can't wait to do it again-had a blast.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
