Does anyone have the exact measurements of this battery. I have made a few mods and have very limited space...

Thanks

Great Product. Barely fits into my battery tray, but i'm just so happy how it slots in. wrxhoon is a great help. Organised the terminals for me without any hassle. Kept in contact throughout the process. Thanks for being so professional.

I think this is a great 'investment' as far as any 'investment' goes on a perpetually money sucking fiend that is my car =P

do u know if they will fit 180sx's??

I know people have fitted them in 180's but I don't know what they have done to fit them in .

The measurements are there , take a tape and measure to see if they will fit.

my car is a 180sx. I just put it in sideways, and it just slotted in. But it can fit in normal way, just need a bracket for it from autobarn or something. Big enough room for cooler piping through the tray (though I advise against that). Got to find a bigger battery bracket for it though.

Add me to the list of satisfied customers of this battery for an R33 GTR. Bought it from wrxhoon a month ago, installed it by turning the post connector sideways and screwing down the neck. Installation took a little longer than expected, had to remove the rear strut tower brace, and the backplate that bolts on the chassis because the battery was JUST too big for the gap (1cm too big). Also needed a $5 7 inch battery bracket from Autobarn. Other than that, it's been working great. Starts up easily after a week of not using it (with alarm draining it).

Also wrxhoon was great to deal with, no dramas at all.

Thanks wrxhoon! :)

O.K guys looks like there are a few of you that may want batteries .

I can get these at anytime as long as I order 5 at the time. All of you that want one please post here or P.M and I'll see what I can do for you. Price is still the same $140 pick up in Sydney ( or even meet up somewhere). For interstaters extra $20 for post in the eastern states and S.A. , W.A. and N.T. around $40 .

I'm looking to change my battery (R32 GTR). Please let me know if these batteries are still available? I should be able to pick up from Sydney.

i need one for a r33 please got any pics on how it is connected up please.

cheers

Allan

Have a look in the thread mate and you will see how others have installed it .

It will fit in the same place your battery is now but because its a bigger ( wider ) battery you need a new 7" braket ( your car has a 5" bracket) and you need to discard your battery tray .

I have one in my R34 GTR but to take a pic I have to strip the car boot .

Cheers , Jerry

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
