I recently purchased an Intercooler kit on eBay through Online Motor Options - the email contact has the name Theresa. I have received the Intercooler but I'm still waiting on the piping some 4 weeks since I paid for the kit. Is there anyone out there who can give me some contact details (phone number, location etc) of this group - Online Motor Options so I can find out what's going on. Any details appreciated.

PS: More than happy with the quality of the Intercooler although getting more than a little worried about delivery or lack of delivery of the piping, hoses etc.

Please help if you have any contact details

I hope it wasn't just a picture with the piping then in the fine print it says "cooler only"

Nearly been caught out myself on stuff like that

No - the ad was clearly for the Intercooler and full mandrel bent alloy piping, hoses and clamps - I guess I just hope it eventually turns up caus' my emails sent to them have gone unanswered - again anyone who has a phone contact to Online Motor Options who I believe are in Roxburgh Park in Vistoria it would be appreciated

Does he have a rating??

Is he replying to any emails?

the group appear to have a resonable rating with generally good feedback (limited numbers) however I'm not getting and feedback to emails sent - that is whu I'm trying to get a phone contact - Online Motor Options in Victoria - help

Send an email every day, you can report them as well through Ebay.

When did you last here from them??

Keep on parsisting, it will eventually come through

i bought a strat bar off them and got an email from her they knowingly sent me the wrong size strut bar

dodgey

Aaron,

Did you get the correct strut bar?? Did you get any reply from her or this Online Motor Options group?

I have sent a complaint to eBay and hopefully have some form of reply tonight.

I have also heard that Online Motor Options were aklso trading under another name on eBay also - be very careful

Again - anyone with any details on this group - please let me know. Their last known address was in Roxburgh Park, Victoria

when i delt with them i emailed her and asked for their shop number before i started blasting them because from the emails that they sent they knew that a batch might have been under sized.

when i read that i rang them up and abused the sh[t out of them they did end up giving me a full refund including both ways postage though so the only thing i lost was some time and sanity

I cant remember the name but thier shop is thier other trading name if you can get thier number ring up telsra and get the info like address from the number and the name at the address and threaten them with fair trading and other gov departments that scare businesses

all my probs ended up being resolved

I think that the fact that they haven't replied to any emails suggests that the piping is more than likely not coming. I agree with everyone else when they say to contact Ebay ASAP. The longer you let it go on, the lower the chances you have of a positive resolution.

As for contacting them, try finding their ABN. Fair trading or the ATO should give you all their contact details if you provide them with this.

thanks all for replies - I have contacted eBay abd they appear to no longer be registered with them - the Group was called "Online Motor Options" or may have also traded under "Horsepower Kings" - if anyone has a phone number please let me know - these names and the name Theresa Holt was was the contact is not listed by Telstra. Sounds liked they've ripped and gone. Beware fellas

Gidday mate,

I received an email from this user only yesterday to say that the rest of my kit is or should be posted within a few days. That was the first email after unsucessfully trying for one and half weeks, and over a month since I paid for the full kit. I have a name and address, but Telstra indicate that they have no listing for this name and address - maybe if you know someone in Melbourne they could slip past and check it out. I'll let you know if I get anything, but my dad has already spoken to his lawyer mate who said he chase it up if nothing arrives - after taking your money and not supplying what you pay for is fraud. here's what I have anyway

PS: Told me that eBay made a stuff up with their account - yeh right

u rekn thats bad..

i bort a gtr engine start of november from a shop in aust and was told it would be here be4 christmas. It still hasnt even been shipd! They never answer their emails and hardly answer there phone. Funy they used to be4 they got my money.

Yeah, that sucks. I guess it all goes to prove that if something is too good to be true (or too cheap??), then most probably it is. Even though I have bought stuff off ebay before, I am just waiting for the same thing to happen. I usually try to avoid buying stuff sight unseen. Who knows what you're buying if you can't actually see it?? I bet if these guys were locals, and had you guys on their doorstep every day, it would be harder to ignore than clicking delete on their email.

Guess some people are just out to take advantage of others. :) Hope these a*seholes get what's coming to them. :kick:

    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
    • OK, next the shroud needs to come off and there are a couple of tricks. Firstly, there is a loom from near the passenger side headlight to the fans, coolant temp sensor etc and there is no plug to undo.  In my case I was OK to leave the shroud on top of the engine so I just undid the passenger side fan plug and about 10 of the clips which gave enough free wire to put it aside. The fan plugs were super tight, the trick I used was a small falt screwdriver to push down on the release tab, then a larger flat screwdriver to lever the plug out of the fan unit....be careful with how much force you apply! If you need to remove the shroud altogether for some reason you will have to deal with all the plugs (tight) and clips (brittle)....good luck. I removed all of the clips and replaced them with cable ties that I will just cut next time. Also, in the Red Sport / 400R at least, the intake heat exchanger reservoir hose is bolted to the shroud in 2 places with 10mm headed bolts; so remove them (the hose stays in the car; no need to undo it at the t fittings down at the radiator lower mount. Once you've dealt with the HX hose and the wiring loom, there are 3x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the shroud to the radiator; remove those.   The shroud then lifts out of the bottom mounts where it sits on the radiator, up and onto the engine out of the way.
