hey ppls,

just letting everyone know that the new generation of handheld gaming is released on 24th feb. With the top screen as a play screen and the bottom as a touch screen to help aid in playing your DS games it is very impressive at only $199. i do know NFSU will be released on the DS, not too sure as to what it looks like yet but should be impressive from what ive seen from metroid prime hunter (DS) which also looks good. and if any of you are wanting to test a DS before you purchase one, your nearest EB (electronics boutique) should have a console for you to play.

ofcourse the PSP is also due out this year but weve only got a relase date for april and i doubt that will be official but the sony PSP's graphics will be close matching to that of the PS2 and has a remake of Final Fantasy VII and the movie Advent Children. it will also have (hold your breath) GT4 released and ridge racer and most possibly NFSUII and from what ive heard the graphics for GT4 on the PSP are almost no difference to that of PS2. if only we had one of those to play

Im not sure on the release date but it is certain that FFVII is coming out on PSP theres actually 4 different versions of final fantasy VII being released.

and GT4 already has happened PSP is made by sony and from what ive heard it may even be a launch title

4 games that will be released on the PSP are: Viewtiful joe, Devil May Cry, King Of Fighters Maximum Impact, Metal Gear Acid

Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus will be released on the PS2 and apparently you play as Vincent

really because on www.lik-sang.com they have it listed to come out 1st quarter of this year and its called GT4 Mobile

They say Spring 2005 (northern hemisphere) which could be anytime until May... and I seached all over Sonys Japanese site for any mention of GT4 on PSP with no luck. I know how Sony put back release dates like it's going out of fashion... hell even with the PS2 release of GT4 they put back the release date 1 month at the 11th hour.

But yeah, the only mention of PSP GT4 right now is on the hardcore gamers sites... when I said there was no mention of it I meant 'official release date'... your right though it's definately on the cards.

ok, heres link to a site where you buy NTSC games from ones for FFVII DC and the other one is for FFVII AC

and heres official sites from square-enix

its in japanese but you should be able to find your way around and get wallpapers, video clips etc...

I reckon the DS will kick bottom as well. I heard the PSP has a very limited battery life compared to the DS having 10 hours. I also wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft decide to release a handheld system of their own in the future if Sony can do well with the PSP.

the PSP actually has about 9 hours battery life i heard for playing nonstop which is pretty good concidering the grapics it had to generate. i think DS will win the hearts of children where PSP will be more advanced and be more for the 13+ genre and plus i may get both handhelds (depending on finances ^_^") but i can say now that i am looking forward to the PSP more than the DS

There we go.... back to the basics... nintendo for kids.... sony for older people, because its simply not true, i mean sure nintendo have mario but SONY sign up basically any game, ive seen a damn barbie game on playstation and nintendo have qulaity rather then quantity....

lol i didnt mean it like that, sony have a much wider range of games where nintendo really only sign there own brand games + more or games that are made for nintendo. i have nothing against any system i love them all but you dont see a wide range of fighting, racing, shooting games on nintendo systems do you?

Yet again you missed my point. Nintendo have very few low qulaity games, while sony have a wide range of games... huge vast genres, nintendo is more famous and will sell more for its apeal to vast majority of the audience... which are kids.

your right, nintendo have very little low quality games but how well did you think they went on sales on the game cube? while making a completely unique system they also limited the possibilities of it ever doing anything eye poppingly great. it couldnt play dvds (unless you had purchased the 3rd party GC) it couldnt play any previous nintendo titles and it also had very few titles to play (even though they may have been quality ones) Nintendo have actually lost alot of money through the gamecube which is why the DS might just be there last handheld. i know there are alot of ppl who dont want to admit it but it happened to sega and they were once one of the biggest players in the game rivaling with nintendo. And even though there arent as many quality games or better graphics for PS2 it still seems to sell better than the Gamecube because of the variety of the games and the dvd compatibility. The DS does have about 4-5 quality games that i think werent made on a low budget. games like project rub and a dating sim?? i wonder how long it will take for that to get old? but they are getting games like Mario 64 DS, Spiderman 2, Metroid Prime: Hunters etc... nintendo now have a threat in the handheld market, PSP with better graphics, more games, and able to play movies. although they both boast wireless lan and bluetooth capabilities we will only know which one is better when they are both out. if it werent for PSP coming out nintendo would be doing great because even though the gamecube was a bit of a loss they could still get it back on handheld with the audience of kids but not all kids are going to b loyal to nintendo they just want the better games. and Sony also have great quality games for example: final fantasy, Gran Turismo, Grand theft Auto +many more

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
