Drift tyres

Just browsing around the other day when I came across these:

BF goodrich Scorcher T/A yelllow drift tyres. apparently they will emit a yellow smoke when drifting!!! now theres a way to stand out.

anyone in aus seen or used them?

have you guys seen those drift tyres that create coloured sparks at nite.....only in japan.

These tyres were released in the states some years ago and did come in other colours i.e red, blue and green. The were released as regular tyres not drift tyres, don't think drifting was well known outside of japan when these were originally released.

i was actually thinking about these tires last week. we had them for sale a couple of years ago. don't think we actually sold any though. but now that i know the name i will go get some, i just wanna have red marks on the track so i know which ones are mine. would look cool too.

yeah, I thought about that. but i guess they just got that photo so that you could see the tyres better. wouldn't be so easy to get a good shot on the rears.

I heard down the lines that Hankook are releasing Drift tyers for only one use.

They are using the same concept with colour rubber. Although these tyers will be low cut tread and sticky. So I have Heard.
