6th gear in GT-R?

Hey i know this is a totally amatuer dumb thing to ask/// but i saw 2 cars today...R33 GT-R's...and i was sure they were gt-r's but they only had 5 speed transmissions... whats the go i thought gtr's have 6 speed tranny's...im prolly wrong though

latest speed magazine states possibly 7 speed smg and that it will not be an R35 but an R36 due for release in 2007

that speed magazine pisses me off ... cause the cover has some gtr on the front ... and says its the real deal ... but u know what? when u open up the magazine its only a page or 2 ... not much writing and it states that it could be a real design .... and thats it !!! a 2 page coverstory .... WTF ... what a waste of my money!!!

bugatti veyron 16.4 has 7 too... redline in 1st gets you to 100km/h.

also the hsv 6 speed is nothing compared the gtr 6 speed

the gtr box is a getrag box and the hsv/xr6ba use some other model which i dont think is as good as the getrag. a new getrag is around 15k

The Veyron is just one of those cars which promise so much and delivered nothing...

There is nothing special about the R34 getrag 6.

Infact its my one pet hate with the car.

Stupid getrags.

I often drive the Calibra 4wd turbo with factory 6-speed getrag box. It can take abuse, pretty good box i reckon
