Compliance in Sydney - getting car to Canberra?

Hi everyone,

I'm getting my R33 compliance done in Sydney (whenever I get the car).

I'd like some advice on getting it from Sydney to Canberra. I don't think I could drive it as it wouldn't be registered yet, and wouldn't have the dot-rated tyres.

Any ideas anyone?

mine was complied in Brisbane, got it trucked down for $300...

nah mate, just get an unregistered vehicle permit from the govt shop front and drive it. cost like 22 dollars by memory. Just need to show vin number. Just get it in the act, nsw are assholes about it and need a pinkslip. Done it a few times, just dont crash.

When the MG series was starting up, first round was in canberra, and they drove about 20 of them down to canberra on those magic permits.
