Bit harsh Andrew :D, i ran a 13.4 with my car and i am absolutely shit at drag racing. (Std turbo and engine, on my 19's)

I'm beting a 13.01, just to piss off Troy :), and to back up the initial bet we had btw us. I will try and be there and will probably help Shivam trailor his car there, if he still wants to.

:D heh i'll come down and show ya's all up with my 10 second car...getting the underbody neons installed this week, and i bolted the NOS in over easter :)

but in all seriousness i might come down and have a look/drive.

*cough* Drag is for commonwh0res *cough* :)

Is that all? lol

hehe no offense to you or you car at all... went to the drags with my mate in his GTST which runs 250rwkw, std injectors but has a power FC and a good tune... he ran around a 13.4@110mph i think... but had a lot of trouble with traction

i'm guessing if you have a good launch in you may be able to break into the 12s... but since its going to be your first time there and all, i'm guessing for a mid 13

Good luck!

Big thanks to Al, he carried my tools with him, bought me food, and put up with my dribble and excitement... RB20 POWAH!!!!!

I thought i would have been stoked to brake into the 12s, and a 12.9 just counts so im stoked. Best run ET wise a 12.9 @ 112mph with a 2.2 60ft time. My best mph was 114mph but i farked it up with a 2.4 60ft.

I had a ball...and once again big thanks to Al, it was goot to be able to share my excitement with someone:thumbsup:

lol..yeh, its a shamble at the moment...had a BBQ at a Winton track day, then kissed a tyre at a drift day...It was down hill from here:(

As for the exhaust note...thanks, I love the sound of my thing, its the cars redeaming feature.:)

Should have come up and said hello, maybe next time:thumbsup:

LOL...2.2 60 ft with 234/40/17s semi slicks:( I aint the man. I need muffin man or you to get the car off the line for me:)

I fear im becoming a drag queen....i really enjoyed last night, more then i ever though ti would...it was way better then that grifting caper i did 2 weeks ago:thumbsup:

Will be back in 2 weeks with boost wound up to 18psi, I'll try building i bit of boost with the handbrake and see if i can get a 2.0sec 60ft time. I doubt ill be able to. But no im mega keen to try and get a 12.5 @115mph...just need way more practice off the line...:)

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
