My Freind has only just purchased a r34 skyline and on his return trip from melborne he lost an eyelido cover for the right hand side, i have searched many forms & threds but have been unable to find where to purchase a replacement or if its possible with out importing ..

I would appreciate any help in this matter as he has not time to search him self.

hmmm im seriously after some SII 33 ones. haha yeah ur right about painting the CF ones.. taking weight reduction to the extreme !! hahahaha :P

i know it would be heaps more expensive but if you were dead set on getting the factory ones, would a nissan aus be able to get some from nissan japan if they were stocked as spares ? or do you think that the body stuff wouldnt have been keep in any volume for spares after they finished manufacturing them ?

aftermarkets would probly be the go :) hehehe

n15m0 - They arrived about 7days after the auction and look fantastic, no dodgy weave, lots of laquer etc.

Hey guys.. it's good to see u are getting ur eyelids... it's very convenient that ur cars are black or dark colours.. but mine is still YelloW..

Yes I'm the sucker who lost one of his lids..

Just wondering whether it'd be worth buying the carbon fibre ones..

On a yellow car.

The hong kong lad from ebay can order non carbon fibre ones as well for $85 delivered but it will take 3-4 weeks apparently...still deciding...will approach DMD in Brisbane and see if they can make us a couple coz they have had a couple of really hot R34s with eyelids and the boss drives one too...

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
