Hi guys i didn't mean for this to get out of control with the comparison of the toque figures.

just that the car has lots of torque that's all.

we cant compare torque as none have been posted, it hasnt got "nasty" we are just inqusitive people on here....no-one has posted anything nasty?? Can you send me a link with info on this OS box as i cant find any info on it.

thanks Ben.

paul...DIRTgarage.

I got that info from the WSID website. 600hp will have to provide the incremental MPH figures. But yes, I agree, the car wasn't being launched or driven as hard as it could be. That 1.7 60" was its best of the night with the rest in the 2.0-2.4 region. Best MPH of the night was 116. Plenty left in it if short shifting is eliminated and more agressive driving instigated.

Good luck with it.

Charlie.

Chris, any particular reason that the OS was chosen instead of the Holinger? Both are similarly priced.

Charlie.

Rice factor! Hollys with seq shifter were $22K, regular H pattern was $18K. OS is a bit cheaper, or was when it was purchased. A few more reasons, but that was the main one.

Oh and did I mention the 5 OS Gherkin shirts we got with it? And the stickers... oh what a bargain! Pity I'm too fat to fit in any of the shirts, damn weedy Japs :)

Just thought i let you know that the JUN Plenum, rocked up today.it's got heaps of bling factor.

As for the OS box i spoke to BEN from otomoto and he said that retail is 16,500.

i'll get the plenum, quatermile times and the dyno sheet around to dough boy, and see if he could stick them on the net. Thats if Chris would be kind enough. Thanks Chris!

Cheers Ben

Best time:

R/T:   0.939

60':   1.749

330': 4.932

660': 7.621

1000': 9.878

ET:    11.758

MPH: 115.76

hi 600hp was just comparing run

4923scan0004.jpg

at the 330 foot only .05sec difference so to say this was a slow launch is a crock of shit(1.7 60 footer is not slow), and its only from this point on that mine start to pick up time and mph on it. At the time it was running 480-490rwhp but the only big difference i can see is the power curve spread (gt-ss seem pretty agressive but done run right out in the higher rpm where the garrets seem to be a bit more linear in power and torque)

4923scan00011.jpg

So great work and hope to see more of this car in the future on the forum

Hope to run my car at drag combat should be interesting with another 50hp and new tyres and hopefully we might have a experimental gearbox in for the run.

:D

Welll, I am just here to say something...

My fren has a std GTR.. He ran constant 11.94 @ 114/113MPH.

3" front , stock Dump pipe. 4" cat back.

Blitz Twin Entry Intercooler

ARC Airbox

17psi boost.

255 street tyres on 18" rims.

With wider tyres say 275 he will get better traction.. but there expensive:)

Which is why i think that time of 11.7 is not impressive. Mind you its still got std ecu.

He is going to get Power FC and a custom dump pipe setup with intercooler water spray, he is aiming for 11.7 @ 116mph.

Will keep youse up to date.

    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
