600hp: 367awkw is impressive from those turbos! I have always thought they were capable of an output up in that range. But never had any proof until now. I think that is definately enough power to run a 10.

Cefiro_PWA: For a comparison, when I first got my car I ran an 11.99 @115.4 mph with:

Stock turbos and dumps, 3" inch front pipes and cat back

trust pod filters

trust intercooler

17 psi boost

Jap chipped ECU

217rwkw

Then I added a PFC, Z32 afm's and cam gears and it made 273rwkw. On a very hot day when noticeably down on power (intake temp at 66 deg) I ran an 11.6 @ 118 mph. This was still far from the potential of the car.

There are many GTR's up here with heaps more power but getting worse times. Just goes to show that there is more to it than peak power outputs.

nice work wish i could get a GTR i wanna have a go and just getting inthe low 12s

Welll, I am just here to say something...

My fren has a std GTR.. He ran constant 11.94 @ 114/113MPH.

3" front , stock Dump pipe. 4" cat back.

Blitz Twin Entry Intercooler

ARC Airbox

17psi boost.

255 street tyres on 18" rims.

With wider tyres say 275 he will get better traction.. but there expensive:)

Which is why i think that time of 11.7 is not impressive. Mind you its still got std ecu.

He is going to get Power FC and a custom dump pipe setup with intercooler water spray, he is aiming for 11.7 @ 116mph.

Will keep youse up to date.

If that car is running stock turbines, it won't be running anything for very long at 17PSI...

tick tick tick doom and when i goes it will take the motor with it, i have seen 3 of these in the last year. And it's funny how these guys come out of the wood work "my mates car"

there is a big difference in this range

at 316awhp i ran 12.0 1/4mile

at 520rwhp i ran 11.3 1/4mile

so to run a 12.0 or 11.9 in gtr is not rocket science

but to get in to the mid or low 11's takes a lot more work (lot more)

Well.. it can't "take the motor with it" because its simply only 17psi!

Ive seen 11.6 in a GTR in japan ( R33 GTR S1 ), They said it was running pump fuel ( 100RON ) and street tyre's! ( not sure what kind ).. this was only @ 1.2kg/cm2!

so around 17pounds!

just look's like half of your car's are shitty and low on compression.

YES it can and very offen does as the exploding cermic wheel spend bit everywhere including back into the combustion chamber making and almightly mess of thing ,this is why people throw the std turbo asap as its cheap to replace just turbos than a motor and turbos. The std turbos are a ticking time bomb if run anything over std boost (some may last a little or alot but they all fail in the end)

exhaust wheels are ceramic, the intake shaft is fine on the standard gtr

why would it suck inside, its an exhaust wheel... "ExHAUST" get it? exhaust?

it just comes outto the cat

only thing youd be damaging on the standard turbo's running 17psi is the turbine wheels..

anyway who cares... 11.6 is fast.

look i have seen three rb26 motor damaged in the last 12 to 18 months by this NO if but or maybe

It happen offen i didnt believe until i saw it then another and another

Don't believe me if you like your MATE may pay a very big price for it

I surgest you talk to some other tuners etc that have had experience with running std gtr hard and you will find the FIRST thing they will tell you to lose the std turbos before they fail.

pnblight is right, I have heard of many stories of turbine wheels calling it a day and ending up in the sump....

CEFIRO_PWA - In most cases the exhaust wheel ends up in the cat, but the front wheel can go the other way!!!

P.S pnblight, I have a surprise for you, stay tuned!!!!

Tell your mate to either back to boost off to under 1 bar or get rid of the stock ceramic turbos . Its only a matter of time before they let go and guess what the engine will be full of ceramic dust , a sand like material that will score the bore and may bent a valve or two .

There is nothing wrong with the stock turbos and yea you can get plenty of power out of them . The reason people change them is the CERAMIC wheel s let go and damage the engine in most cases .

I dont blame you for not understanding how it happens but believe me it DOES i have seen several engines go when they spit the turbos .

The first thing i did on my 34 is replace the turbos with gtss's . The stock turbos are not much smaller and they spool up earlier but i can take the risk of destroying an almost new engine .

hey Jerry, how is it all going???? Im off to BEL 2moro to add a few goodies, and then it will need a dyno tune once I get back from work on the 10th....

Its all good with me , heading to wsid on wednesday , weather permiting to put bens tune to the test .

What are you doing to it now ?

What dyno are you taking it to ?

I will put mine on the dyno as well but i only trust one Dyno and thats in south coast .

I think Paul ( ozgtr02v) wants to put his 34 r on the same dyno so we can compare the 2 cars .

    • I'm selling my personal race car. 1992 BNR32 Skyline GT-R About eight years ago the engine developed the dreaded low oil pressure problem. I removed it and found the issue. However shortly after I moved half way across the country, moved my work shop, bought a house, got married, then moved my shop again to it's permanent location for the time being. in turn I do not have the time to race this car as it should be. In turn the engine I built for this car will end up in my street car and this car I hope finds a home with someone who can use it to it's full potential. The roll bar was built by Jason Noren Fabricaiton in Pomona California to SCCA and NASA Specs. The car used to compete in redline time attack and global time attack enthusiast class. It also has a fire suppression system.  The car is with me at my workshop in Kyle Texas, USA. Shipping it is no problem, I can personally deliver the car to the port of either Houston or Los Angeles. Any other port depending on where it is may require transport but we can always work that out.   The chassis itself is rust free, rear quarters and under fenders are free of any rust so it's a very solid foundation for anyone who wishes to move forward with it. As posted and at the asking price of $20,000 USD the car includes all of the following;   All OEM Body panels, front fenders, rear bumpers etc.  OEM Nissan Projector headlamps (Pictured N1 lamps were removed) OEM Nismo Side Skirts / Extensions OEM Rear Spats  Front & Rear Subframes are installed car is full roller Rear Subframe has Cusco Camber Arms, Whiteline HICAS Elimination Front Subframe has Whiteline tension rods and whiteline Sway bars w/ endlinks.  Buddy Club N1 Coilovers All chassis wiring and engine wiring is in tact. Attessa System is fully in tact and was functional before engine removal.  BCNR33 GT-R Brembo Brakes F+R with Endless MX72 Plus Pads, DBA Rotors & Stainless Steel Brake lines Billion Racing Radiator Billion Radiator Hoses Fluidyne Engine Oil Cooler Accusump System (trunk Mounted) 5 Speed Transmission w/ Transfer Case F+R Prop-shafts Rear Differential With rear Axles.  Nismo Gauge Cluster Nismo Clutch + Flywheel   Essentially what is needed to make this car running and driving again is as follows: A working Engine, an ECU, and time to put it together. The price posted is or best offer as I am willing to remove some components to accommodate price to a certain extent. If any serious buyer wants full detailed pictures, videos, or any questions I'll be happy to answer them. I believe this car is priced to move quickly considering it's a rust free and very straight chassis but always open to fair negotiation.  I can be contacted via phone or email. • So...to my (and my mechanics doing the swap) surprise...the oil pan from NEO engine does not fit 100% and needs to by modified like this: It is not a huge problem but in the future i want a "proper" oil pan. So question is...what different oil pan can i get to fit without any problems and modification? Thanks!
    • Some more info I found.  These are the last entries Yoshikiyo Fujii made on his blog before he passed away in 2009: http://blog.livedoor.jp/fujii_dynamics/ And finally this is where the workshop was situated:  https://maps.app.goo.gl/HhTPtHzt3WVcBTiEA
    • shit boxes, kids, and daily drivers are all welcome
    • Cam seals go hard. It's a very old car.
