R32 GTR and GTS-t compliance under RAWS finally available for everybody.

Got a call from www.jappsport.com.au/ in Sydney and they will do R32 GTR and GTS-t for anybody who wants it, not Dealer only.

Email them on [email protected] and they will give you the price and I think all years except 12 Months were Nissan Australia imported them is available but don't quote me.

It's Zoran again :spank: not surprised by it. If there's a will, Zoran will have a way to get it done. Good on ya guys, no more monopoly for those 2 workshops that sounded like they don't want my business when I called them earlier in the year for 2 R32 plates.

Any ideas how much are those plates?

siddr20: this is still possible, but we have very very very good reason to believe that the rules will be gazzetted within the 3rd or 4th week of may.. so if you can find your 89 gtst and get import aproval BEFORE the 15yr rule gets gazetted by the government then you will be ok. If you can't find a car before then I know that J-spec will fully refund your money..

guys in VIC can use UPI as well. They should be able to compliance R32's now.

Either way, keep checking the RAWS list as this number of compliancers can only grow.

where can i obtain the list of vechiles that can be imported under sevs scheme..

also i heard that-"at this stage there are only 2 workshops listed with R32 plates, however we know of a couple more that are just finishing the testing and will have plates soon as well - it's likely that supply and demand will keep prices fairly high on this model for a while at least".

does anyone know which shops???

NOWHERE ELSE! They are the ONLY ones in Aus to have R32 GTR compliance. If you want to comply an R32 GTR, you have to pay up, or wait even more, and who knows when that will be... I paid $5500 for R34 compliance when it first came out through someone else, as they were the only ones doing it at the time, in the end you have to weigh things up and see whether you would rather wait for an unknown amount of time or pay extra and bring the car in asap.

...so you have 2 options, wait more months for someone else, AND most likely pay a similar price (afterall, it will still pretty much be a monopoly until there are MANY RAWS with R32 GTR compliance), or stop being a tight a.ss, pay up and bring your car over to comply it

its really not that hard...

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
