The RS-R run slightly wide as well. Go the same size you did on those.

Will see how i go... A few supply issues with them as they are discontinued!

I didn't notice my RS3's to be any wider than the dunlops that were on the evo.. The federals have a massive casing too so you shouldn't have a drama with the hankooks fitting under your car Matt

Good because there are no more 265s available so 275 it is lol

Well you will be at 1 with traction now son :D

Oh i dont know about that :whistling:

But the car is booked in with Road2Race to get it setup right

I've had kumho ku36 in 265/35/18 all around on my gtr for about a year and half now

In the beginning they were good, now for past year they are just getting harder and harder and the tyre noise is unbearable, drives me crazy !

Rears have about 20-30% left fronts about 40%

I'm taking them off and going for nitto INVO's in 265 have herd nothing but good things about them

The invo's are a great tyre Michael had em on my old 33 they are literally silent on the road and I found them really good in the wet too! ;)

When are these RS3's going on Matty? :)

2 are on, 2 are for sale...

Road test this weekend

Got some 235 Z222s on the front and some 255 Fed RSR on the back

Will let you know how they go at racewars :) ( if my cars ready )

You are all backwards :P

I have 255RSR up the front and 275 Z222 down the back ;)

Was going to get Rsr all around,

Could get front z222 cheaper than rsr, so i got them.

I do track work, so tighter tyres on front could be better

Yeah i will be doing plenty of track work and know the RSR front wont be up to the task ;)

I have just scored a set of 34GTR rims and will start researching proper tyres and will keep the current combo as my street/thrasher set!

Make sure you report back with thoughts on the Z222 ;)

I have 245/40s on my 34 GTR runs (on a 33 gtst s2) and they seem OK. Looking for a replacement and thinking RE050A or Pirelli?? Or the Invo's you guys all seem to rate. My RE01s are worn and the road noise is terrible, looking for a grippy but quiet set.

I just scored a set of 34GTR rims and will run Hankook z221 all round in 265/35/18... Not ideal for street though! Ill run the XT7 setup for street!

The RSR's kept me on the runway at 240km/h at racewars, thats a pass for me :)

Will let you know how they go on the track.

Pressures make the biggest difference with the RSR!

Ill have mine on the track on the 25th too

    • Hi guys . Can someone help me  I bought an Android screen for my Nissan fuga but it won't turn on
    • My guesstimate, with no real numbers to back it up, is it won't effect it greatly at all.its not a huge change in position, and I can't see the air flow changing from in turbulence that much based on distance, and what's in front of it. Johnny and Brad may have some more numbers to share from experience though.
    • Which solenoid? Why was it changed? Again, why was this done? ...well, these wear..but ultimately, why was it changed? Did you reset the idle voltage level after fitment? I'm just a tad confused ~ the flash code doesn't allude to these items being faulty, so in my mind the only reason to change these things, would be some drive-ability issue....and if that's the case, what was the problem? Those questions aside, check if the dropping resistor is OK ...should be 11~14 ohms (TCU doesn't throw a flash code for this) ~ also, these TCU designs have full time power (to keep fault code RAM alive), and I think that'll throw a logic code (as opposed to the 10 hardware codes), if that power is missing (or the ram has gone bad in the TCU, which you can check..but that's another story here perhaps).
    • Question for people who "know stuff" I am looking at doing the new intake like the one in the picture (the pictured is designed for the OEM TB and intake plenum), this design has the filter behind the front bar, but, the filter sits where the OEM duct heads into the front bar, and the standard aperture when the OEM ducting is removed allows the filter to pulled back out of the front bar into the engine bay for servicing, a simple blanking plate is used to seal the aperture behind the filter This will require a 45° silicone hose from the TB, like the alloy pipe that is currently there, to another 45° silicone hose to get a straight run to the aperture in the front bar Question: how will it effect the tune if I move the MAF about 100-150mm forward, the red is around where my MAF is currently, and the green would be where it would end up Like this This is the hole the filter goes through  Ends up like this LOL..Cheers
    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
