Calaisxtyo
hi there, im from NZ and happened to come across your site and find it really interesting that you all know this much stuff. Now im a noob at this but im looking at dropping my 98 R34 with King lows and putting a set of 19" Eurohart C Form from Racing Hart on it. they are 9 on the back with 275x35.19" tyres and 8 on the front with 235x35.19".....you guys know ur stuff so do u think this would be ok? any problems that i may find, im in the process of doing it up now it has a C West wing at the mo and when i get the wheels and springs i think i will then look later on at maybe a bomex body kit. What do you think? btw: you guys have harsh rules but man your rides are phat Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/73384-typical-kiwi/ Share on other sites
IanH
Those wheels will fit really well with no problems. I'd chose 265 for the rears as they match the rolling radius of the fronts (and doesn't affect the speedo at all) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/73384-typical-kiwi/#findComment-1347941 Share on other sites

Calaisxtyo
wiked ride IanH....that car is smokin, so 265 would be better didn't know about that speedo thing thnx man. thnx RHETT yeah, i found that place too but i couldn't find as much knowledge and info as i have seen in your forums, so ill probly stick around here a bit, i am lookin at different mags today so hope to have something rollin on my car soon but ill show pics i have tiptronic, still drifts ok though, have a boost tap but the car doesnt like going over 1 bar...is that a problem? how can i fix it? and i may look at Tein platforms....are these ok shocks for the R34? instead of kings?or should i stick with the kings? man i really appreciate your feedback guys maybe i could catch up with some of you when im in oz around Sept..Oct Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/73384-typical-kiwi/#findComment-1348578 Share on other sites
RyanN
are you sure 19" could fit? over the weekend i had to do a suspension check since petrolium jelly started to ooze out of the front right suspension arm joint..eek however since the wheel was off ithought i might try and see if the old supra 20" rims would fit, stud pattern is the same however the wheel would of never have fit with the nissan suspension strut coming out and over the wheel with only about an inch clearence with the old stock 17" wheel. I beleived that 18" was as high as you could go......am i wrong? NJR 34GTT
It doesn't like going over 1 bar because the stock turbo should not be boosting anywhere near that level. It is absolutely at its maximum efficiency at 12psi. You should lower the boost to 12psi and you will find you will make the same power, smoother and no more boost/fuel cuts. Calaisxtyo
Hey RyanN yeah, they seemed aiight to me, i had them on this morning but not lowered and it seemed to be ok, the guy at the mag shop hasn't said it wouldn't work with that set up, he was the one that suggested it so i hope it will be fine else i will have to look at some 18's if i must cause i want it lower...but couldn't i just take that plastic stuff thats inside the wheels arches out aswell or is it best left on? as for your advice on boost NJR thanx man, it seems to like it at 12 so i think ill leave it there, with my new wheels on anyway i doubt im gonna want to burn much rubber hahaha i got a pic with them on for u 2 look at and give me an opinion if you like on what you reckon....the 3rd pic is sumthing i put on to see if bling was the thing, so let me know if u like them Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/73384-typical-kiwi/#findComment-1349693 Share on other sites
