Great day.. thanks again Paul for organising it all!

Times were pretty slow, but good learning experience. Least it was cheap on the tyres..

Think that kitty litter is going to take a few weeks to fully shake out of my car though (late brake woops)

Yeah I had a good day just drifting around, bummer about the rain - I was keen to try and post some good times.

Had fun anyway.

Thanks again Paul and Tim.

My very patient girlfriend took heaps of photos so I'll post up a couple of good ones when I get them.

Yeah great day Paul / Tim I had plenty of fun especially coming on to the the front straight you get a lot of sidewards action there.

Just one thing thou that page you got with the track times on you should put these times we got today under its own section like a (Wet weather track day times) then if we have another wet day like today we then can try and bet them times.

Just a suggestion

Cheers

Paul - great day thanks again. Anyone who owns a Skyline should come out for one of these days as they are great fun with a mix of cars and a great bunch of guys.

Predator - yup sold the Grey GTSt and upgraded to the GTR but transferred the plates over. Which car were you in?

Disappointed not to conpare times between the 2 cars, however definately a totally different car to drive in the wet, so day wasn't a complete waste. Learnt the cars limits (and mine). Drifting a GTR in the wet is fun even if you do spin second corner on your warm up lap. oops :P

...that would be a good thing..... right(?) ;) ! Nothing compared to your mates rx7 though!!

I think it was the wet on the tyres.. does sound interesting though..don't often get to hear your car from the outside.

Some good shots in that selection of all you guys.

toy33.. ahh, makes sense now...you were getting some nice rich flammage out that back down the straights. I was in the black 32

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
