What BOV?

Any suggestions on what bov I should get for my R33 GTS-T?

I currently have the greddy type s but I am after a louder one....

One that has an adapter would be preferable

I am fairly sure the Blitz one is the loudest of them.

The HKS SSQ sounds the best though

I suggest you use the 'search' button in the future as this has been brought up several times now

Ive got their Type H BOV on my 32 with mounting kit. Very well priced ($365 with mounting kit). Looks pretty nice, sounds good. They do a louder one than the Type H tho, might wanna check that out.

How does the basic HKS BOV sit in this crowd?

hey, the other nite at princes drags i heard this black supra with some sort of BOV that was off its nuts.

must've been some sort of slow slow slow slow release started loud and went pppsssshhhhtttt for ages, was mad...

wondering if any of ya know any good slow-releasing BOV's that are decent? coz i wanna get an HKS ssq but they're really common now and sorta sick of hearing the same thing...

This might be heresy but I really don't see the point in getting a new BOV that sounds louder, slow release, with trumpets etc.

They all do they same thing, they either work or they don't. They just make different wanker noises.

I don't think I'll ever get rid of this basic HKS bov as it's loud enough as it is... and $563!!!

Buy something worthwhile like an AFC or EBC.

I have a Blitz BOV ($749 from UAS IIRC)

VERY loud when your venting a whole 7psi boost! However causes bad stalling problems and what not, it's quite a pain in the ass. I adjusted mine to only vent on HIGH boost, and hooked up the stocker BOV too, no more stalling AND i get a decent sound.

So in summary: Very loud, but lots of stall probs.

Don't know if blitz make an adapter for the R33 as mine is on a custom pipe to the IC

u want loud go turbosmart type III or that one from the GFB range.... heard they are good to...

i have a HKS SSQ.... and on the great wester going pretty fast a copper with its windows down hear my BOV and had the nerve to pull me over

so i say HKS.... sounds SUPER and loud to go with it... i get some backfire but nothing to call the doctor about.... havent stalled yet.... well though i was in neutral and took foot off clutch when parking and nearly ran up the car in front =D

My blitz has the trumpet attachment on it. It's also hidden under the stock airbox ducting.... *yay* copper's still find it tho.
