good to see everyone enjoyed themselves, although i left early and didn't get a chance to cruise around the gong, i still had a great day.

it was good to go up to sydney for once, but it was a bit hard to keep everyone together once we started to get into the traffic.

keep up the good work

I feel sorry for Cameron (xzotik1) - This was his first SAU meet after I spotted his car last week and I put a note on it. Defected for BOV in Wollongong - Sorry mate - that was the first SAU event I've been to where people got defected.....Hope it does't put you off coming again.

2Rismo - I still got your Aussie Flag !!! Nex time dude.

Fantastic turn up at Homebush - pity we all got seperated on the way - Next time we need to take an inventry of cars, and have a couple of catchup poiunt as Carlo suggested.

What about that Monster Truck on the way back !!

Cheers all !

A good day.

Shame I didn't around to say hi to everyone.

I loooooooooove Macquire Pass. It's like a massive hill climb race that goes for about 20 minutes. Great fun.

The shock of the day was when we just got to that car park everyone was at at Port Kembla and you guys went to pizza hut. We hung around for 10 minutes to have a rest, then we looked over at the yobbos that just pulled up next to us and the bloke in the back seat had his arms strapped up trying to find a vein. Then we watch as he pulled his needle out and continued to shoot right next to us !!!!!

We left straight after that........

Nice place :spank::)

it was a great turn out at homebush, approxiametely 40 cars at least, i guess next time as a few of us mentioned we need better organisation, but it was great day while it lasted.

c u guys at the next meeting ay.

What an awesome day!

I dunno how datnet felt about us raiding there BBQ, but thanks lads! How mad were those motorised bicycles!

I'm glad I purchased a radio before the cruise, I'd of been stuffed otherwise. Just made the quick switch from the middle lane into the Shell so that people who forgot why we were meeting at Homebush could get petrol. :P Oh, and so the dog could have a drink.

I can't get over Jay seeing that guy shooting up! SCARY stuff! :(

I'm so with Jay on Maquarie's pass! Very much worth doing, it's the madest drive!

Shell missed out though because she decided she was WAY too cool for us Canberrans :bahaha:

Thanks to all who orgainised everything, thanks to 2Rismo for showing us the way (and the local knowledge of speed camera sites :) ), Jay for doing his best to get me out of the Gong and back to Canberra (hey I love U-Turns too :P ) and of course Datnet for their BBQ!

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
