I was simply asking is it good thing if you dont see the oil drops under the drive way... only asking because all the cars I've seen had oil marks time to time... but I never seen on my car... it's clean as... I would thought it' bad thing... cheers Joe Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/8272-oil-drops-from-the-engine/#findComment-119794 Share on other sites
GTS-t VSPEC
I can't imagine that this could be bad, I'm pretty sure most cars aren't meant to leak oil under any circumstances. If you do see oil drops then you should worry. Cubes
My Gearbox has a slight seep from the front oil seal. The front seal from nissan is $5 so i have to get around to replacing it. BUT with my Input shaft bearing noise I am trying to hang off as long as possible hoping that it will go before the seal does. 2fardown
No this is bad....your engine should leak at least 2 litres of oil a week. You might want to get it checked out. akeenan
the more oil you leak the cleaner your engine will be. Just keep toping it up to the correct level. (B1) MR_fanny
hey guys ive come to the realisation that the reason u dont see minor oil drips is because the plastic underlay under the engine actually catchs the drippin oil......thats why u dont see any on the ground hehe:D im abit worried cause i had a look at that underlay the other day and saw some spots where oil has been drippin on it. so the question here is whats the possible cause of the oil leak?? thanks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/8272-oil-drops-from-the-engine/#findComment-186381 Share on other sites
