someonestolecc
I have 2 plugs near my O2 sensor. One or both of which may or may not lead back to the ECU. Anyways, other than using a multimeter, which I don't have. Is there a way to tell which one is actually the right plug, so I can get rid of the other. I've had both of them plugged inone at a time on the dyno and it didn't make any difference. Thanks. Abo Bob
It wont make a difference on the dyno. If you have the wrong one plugged in you will get very bad fuel economy. Do you have a consult connector? maybe try plugging one in for a tank of fuel then the other for the next tank and see how many k's you get from each. it's there to lean it off when cruising, does nothing when accelerating. someonestolecc
Thanks Bob. I might try tracing it back, I have a creeping suspicion neither is plugged in. BHDave
Having seen the rest of the wiring in your car i would also suspect neither. Easy enough to check. Your ecu should spit out an error code when you go into diagnostic mode Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/82832-how-can-you-tell-your-o2-sensor-is-plugged-in/#findComment-1512635 Share on other sites
blind_elk
Nissans are usually set up so that 2 plugs close to each other can't accidentally be connected to the wrong sensor. If both plugs can be connected to the O2 sensor, then probably neither should be connected.
