which are??

between the committee of the club that hired the track and WSID.

members feel free to talk to the committee about the issue but in the meantime we are not going to discuss it in a public forum and possibly prejudice the outcome.

You can also ask WSID about our discussions if you wish.

i think dirt wants his nine sec pass b4 christmas......

actually its a 6-7hr trip for us to attend....children need to be minded....hotels booked...tilt-tray or trailers need to be booked etc. We need as much notice as possible, unforunately its not just a matter of packing the car and heading out to WSID for the day.

but...yes a 9 before christmas would be nice!

So is this day going to go ahead? I need to know asap as there are a few things that I would like to do to the car beforehand. If it isn't going to go ahead on the 26th, then I can take a different path and save time and money doing things once.

Whilst I'm not personally racing,I do need to budget both dollars and time for a 6 hour round trip, accomodation etc,so the sooner we get the "go" for (hopefully) the 26th of this month, the easier it will be on my selfish a***,LOL!

At this stage, we are waiting for WSID to get back to us regarding the situation. I understand the difficulties, particularly for out of towners and the need for warning for the date, but there is not much we can do until WSID confirm the date and what it will cost.

For what its worth, I doubt the date will be next weekend. We want to make sure as many of the original attendees as possible can make it since they are the ones who put their money down first.

The date isn't confirmed yet? That is leaving things just a little too late. I was under the impression that it would be the 26th. What difference does it make if the original attendees can make it or not? I know alot of the guys that turned up on the 5th that are not impressd at all.

personally i reckon we should stop all the speculating until one of the excecs can get back to us. like duncan has said, no one wants to prejudge the outcome.

I need to know when its on as I would like to prepare for the SC event on the 17th December. If the drag day isn't on next Sat, then I will take a different route with the next mods and not bother preparing for the DD. I'll gladly raise my hand to give WSID a kick in the pants. :(

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
