Good to hear

May I ask what spring rate you went to?

3 seconds with only a suspension change is good.

5 is awesome!!

SK Snr is less of a beer drinker I must warn... Me on the other hand...

325/375. They are in the car ready for a creek run on the 4th.

No probs, i'll send a pack of tea bags and a case... :D

When are you guys doing a RB30 group buy...?

Snr is more of a bourbon fan....

OK - sounds Ok - just wanted spring rates for reference.

RB30 GB - far out... hopefully not anytime soon LOL. Suspension is busy enough

Hi Matt,

I paid the amount of $1,516 in to the Jamex account last wednesday. Could you please confirm payment was received and order is underway.

Thanks and regards,

CHRISTMAS TRADING

We will be closed from the 21st December until 21st January.

I'm going on holidays, and all group buys will be held off until I return.

PLEASE try to not fill up the PM inbox before I return, and try to PM me after I get back so I can help you all out as soon as possible.

I will not empty the inbox during this time, nor will I answer any PMs.

Cheers

Matt

I have returned my swaybars over 3 weeks ago but still have not received my refund. I know you say your on holidays but waiting untill the 21st of January to have my money returned is a bit unfair since you should have got the swaybars easily before the 21st December. Please refer to my PM's as i am now out of pocket over the Christmas period.

Sydneykid, I have had no reply about payment after several pm’s and posts, it has been over a month since I sent the money and I know it went through but you haven’t confirmed payment or ETA, please confirm or send money back, this is just ridiculous

Subject: Delivery of R33 GTR Suspension Kit for BLK33

Hi Matt,

I would like a response to this query regarding the progress of my order for a R33 GTR suspension kit.

I transferred the money late in June - some 2 months ago. You advised me delivery would be 2 weeks and since that date I’ve had no replies to any of my PMs. As mentioned in my previous PMs, I'm not busting for the bits I just want to make sure you received the money and what the expected delivery date is.

Please contact me by PM or mobile.

Cheers

Rob

We are currently suffering from out of stock on some springs, some alignment products and some shocks absorbers, which is holding up about 20 deliveries, some for over 6 weeks. So we haven't been taking new orders, it's not fair on the guys who are waiting on their stuff. Springs are gradually arriving, they are made in Europe, so delivery takes time. The bush production is getting back on stream after the amalgamation of the Noltec and Whiteline alignment products, the new combined range is called Whiteline Plus. Some are due this/next week. That leaves us with a few kits that will be waiting on selected Bilstein part numbers. I am on the suppliers case daily as many of the guys are, understandably, getting impatient and they send multiple PM's every day, this fills up the inbox faster than we can reply.

It's a temporary situation caused by a number of unrelated issues, once we are passed that we will take some new orders. The bonus is there are a number of new and improved products that we will be able to include in the various Group Buys.

Cheers

Hey mate,

I currently have a set of HSD HR coilovers in my 32 GT4.

The ride confort is giving me the mc shits on sydney roads.

How would a set of coilovers (in terms of handeling) stck up against your springs and shockies? Ride comfort would be much better with your kit but would I loose much in handeling? Would I need to look into sway bars aswell to stop the bodyroll?

Cheers mate

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
