phorj
R32 is something along the lines of ~120kw/t. R33 is heavier, but has MORE POWER! it comes in over 130kw/t! Canberra (on the DOTRS form) say the car is 127kw/t but they use the GTR weight which is heavier due to the gearbox and front drive axle. Sssshhhh, don't tell them that though! NismoR34
The authorities have no idea about weights and specifications. The rego on my 34 says 1250 kgs! I wish It is actually 1410kgs - kerb weight. predator
haha...the tare sticker on mine says 1100 ! so they have no idea.. i remember on my old R31 the weight changed on each year's sticker! So proves how consistent that is. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/8890-vic-p-plates-and-gts-t-m-type/page/5/#findComment-140692 Share on other sites

phorj
rego should only be about $400. stamp duty is a once off payment and rego should cost about $400/yr. NismoR34
Its more like 500 a year in melbourne - but it depends where you live. In rural areas its cheaper! Probably different interstate also. Lethal - where did you weigh your car? Everytime i see a PUBLIC weighbridge they are closed!!! I have never seen one open in 28 years!!! [pizzed off]...I have seen them all over victoria but have never seen one open.
