ANyone have one of these picture in this site http://www.prostreetonline.com/buy/apexi_turbo_timer/ (the one pictured on the top)

and know how to set the 02 sensor voltage for a r32.

this is what the instructions say and i don't understand how i get the voltage of 02 sensor.

"The product contains various A/F and 02 snesor values. The values range between AF value (1) - O2 SENSOR VOLTAGE (1) A/F value (8) - 02 sensor voltage (8):

then ther eis a chart

AF 10.0 12.0 14.0 14.6 15.0 16.0 18.0 20.0

02 sensor V 960 940 820 450 010 066 004 002

I have to input the A/F data correspsoning to the displayed 02 sensor voltage

I do not understand any of this anyone have one of these turbo timer and understand this stuff

I have one and reckon they are great.

Unfortunately I am not big on how to set it up, as this was done when it was installed.

My tuner said that they were not accurate outside the narrow band info that they get but, it is good to get comfort from the display showing mid 14's down to whatever your A/F's go to under load.

Will have a look at the documentation soon but I THINK that you set it up to show a certain A/F ratio based on the voltage from your O2 sensor.

*edit* I reread your post and you have the documantation that I don't understand either. If I find out how it is done I will let you know. BUT it seems that the unit displays the A/F automatically based on the O2 voltage. ??

I'm mulling that one over.

Firstly, are there widebands available for car install ?

If so, do they use a greater voltage range, or just a better resolution within the range ?

If they use a different voltage range, can the unit handle it ?

My answer is a confident "I don't know". Hopefully someone else could answer these questions.

I've also got one of these turbo timers and always wondered how to set this feature up. I've re-read the instructions countless times and still can't make much sense of it. I got it installed by a tuner, and later looked at the settings that I have and they are as follows: A/F = 10.0, O2 sensor V = 960 (for a S1 R33). But I'm pretty sure that these are just the factory settings by the looks of things. Would like to know how to set up the unit correctly as I've had readings of +20.0 at times (the light goes green), but it'll usually sit at around 14ish.

Yeah it usually only 'goes green' when I'm sitting at a set of lights or something after I've been driving for a while, but when I take off it will settle again. Can't say that I've ever seen it drop below 14, but then I don't really look at it while I'm driving on boost! Will have to search for the correct settings though.

    • Cheers Lads Looking at changing up a few things maybe go 2.8lt, bigger injectors with more a modern Turbo. Possibly transbrake and convert to E85 with Haltech ECU. Any thoughts on those Mods changes or better ideas? Want to try keep the car Street/Strip While also being weekend drivable still.
