I sometimes feel as though i should have brought myself a race/track car and put up with a regular street car and not spend money on the line. But i like it too much. Not spending the money, but, seeing the car in the finished state.

Ive seen so many people throw their money away on alcohol and drugs and have nothing to show for their working lives.I think that this is my drug.

!Trust! !out!

Its stupid saying youve wasted all that money.. at the end you have a beautiful car that you love and cherish. To me, that better than having lots of money. The reasonn you have money is to spend it, so why not on something great such as a personalised car?

one thing i have never understood is why people buy car and plan on selling em

why buy it if your gonna sell it

i bought my car with the intention of building to exactly my own specs and for me to enjoy it

not to sell it and let someone else drive around in something i busted my ass for and spent endless late nights building.

i would rather burn it than let someone else have it.

i would rather build cars than travel or go out and get pissed or smoke my ass off. ive got something to show for my money that i have earned

ive always been around cars being built from the ground up

because my uncles used to restore classic euros and a few aussie muscle cars

so ive always wanted to do the same

now that i can do it nothing makes me happier

hey mate that comment is sooo damn true, couldnt have said it better myself :P

travelling memories dont last like a new turbo or something

i would only ever mod my car to a certain extent. the way i see it, i dont need a 10sec car on the road, really whats the point ? aslong my car has an exhaust, pod, alloys, minor bodykit and a nice sound system then im happy. no need for massive turbos, cams etc. why bother spending 3grand on something that u cant legally use on the road ?

track and drags :D

go down to a decent tuning shop and go for a ride in a powerful (450hp at wheels gtr, etc) car and then u will understand

250hp at wheels or abit more is fine and great when youve only ever been in stock commodores/fords/jap cars but when u get in a powerful car it makes the 300hp or whatever feel like a slug :P

each to their own :D

amen to that StageZilla!!!

i love spending money on my line and then being able to go for a cruise and have some fun enjoying my hard work. sure poeple could say its a waste spending lots of money with upgrades that you cant use everyday but hell its as fun as!!! being able to push it a little bit and feel it take off is the best feeling ever.

have converted many of my friends by taking them for a ride in my line. they are all thinking about getting a decent car and spending some money upgrading it to.

    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.
    • Echo the awesome sentiment 👍 Definitely a car worth saving. Looking forward to seeing updates as well.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
