Can Anyone Start One Of These Japan Photo Threads?

Recommended Posts

I have thousands of photos, but here are a few recent ones.

Plenty more if anyone is interested in anything specific or better resolution.

There is really so much more to Japan than cars, but I tried to keep it car related :D

Just some more everyday life photos since I accidently double posted my above reply and couldnt work out how to delete it :)

Photos are my new apartment for my 2 week transfer to Kosai-city, Shizuoka-ken, including my cool PIN code entry front door. There is the big Hamanako lake behind my office, and also the cinemas I went to over the weekend in Hamamatsu-city. Can we get caramel popcorn in Australia? I dont even like popcorn yet I am in love with that stuff :)

There are bunch of cool cars in my office car park here, 350Z, RX8, EVO, Stagea and a new Civic Type R that I am finding myself strangely attracted to. I want to take a few photos but at the sametime I dont want to be the idiot foreigner taking photos of people cars in my office car park

I also threw in a photo of Nagoya Centrair airport runway and a bunch of hippies at Okazaki station for good measure.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
