u sure he directed the comments at u ? lol.

but seriously, i cannot stand these kind of ppl. do nothing but cause trouble for every1.

oh yeah definate. we actually made eye contact as he was almost half way out the window. I don't mind copping the abuse if I do something wrong -- but when I mind my own business, obey the law and keep to myself... what do you say/do?

there was a lot of d**kheads on the road tonight anyway so I wasn't surprised.

I was trying to cross a pedestrian crossing yesterday near home when a bogan in a rusty green VK (complete with steelies on the back) came flying down the road going about 80 in a 50 zone & straight through the crossing while I was on it. I pointed at the crossing and he started screaming abuse out his window... F this F that.. seemed like a very articulate gentleman.

Then he pulls up and as I am walking past tries to fight me and my friend lol.. That'll teach me to be a bloody pedestrian! He had a classy hairdo + the obligatory singlet. We called him a bogan and gave him a serve which he didn't like- so he yelled more abuse then did a big burnout to further confirm his bogan-ness. We were almost in tears.

u should c how much crap n shit i have to put up each day driving a R34 4dr with a URAS kit on n the plate "MRR34"

"f%$king 4dr we hate 4dr f%$king go home c%$t" "f%$king jap shit" "go back to ur f%$king country with ur f%$king shit jap crap"

i heard them all the time mate.

WTF yO tAlkn bouT comodors are teh SHIZAR!

Seriously, ive copped a lot of similar abuse, i just laugh it off nowadays :D

The best ones are the idiots stumbling across the street on a Friday night yelling at me to "get a real car" or to "p!ss off back to japan" with my "four cylinder plastic sh!tbox"... im not japanese, and Skylines dont have 4 cylinders..... its hard to concentrate on driving when your laughing urself to tears...

OMG...Has that thing got taillight eyelids?  :)  :D

HAHAHAHA yeah man, i made some eyelids for the VN..

but wait, b4 you say im ricing it...

they tails had cracks along the tops of the lights, soooo me being a TIGHT ass, and cause im selling it , used bog, and hid the bog via a little eyelid!

it worked and keeps the water out! + looks nice if ya like it B)

that abuse on the crossing would have to be the funniest shit i have eva heard.....did you see if the bogan had all of his teeth because i saw one today just pulled out of centrelink i was in my barina.. he came tearing out and because the road was wet went flying down an imbankmant into a gully i nearly crashed laughing....i would like to also add the spasticinissy of commodore drivers i was traveling down the freeway last sat morning after a night out and to my supprise i say three comodore wagons whithin a 15km radius tryed to cross a 4m gully straight on and wondered y their cars were half one one side and half on the other i have never seen so much funny shit in my life i beeped as one guy was trying to push his wagon out ..... i think he even had a flanno on....

on friday after noon, my missis in her MAGNA was drivivng home from work and some laser shit box was up her clacker yelling and shit.

this laser chick was up her ass all the way home and was being a total tool all over the road, anyway as my girl turned off to go down our street they yelled GET A REAL CAR. my girl isnt someone to f**k with so she turned around and followed the laser to her house and got out mouthing back off at her,

then this big fat chick got out of the laser(half drunk) and pushed my girl.. BAD MOVE. LMAO so my girl snaped her in the nose and droped her fat ass,

IM LIKE HOLLY FARK, i couldnt just do that my self, would have took alot of guts to do that...

i spose it a case of people and the snapping point!

i saw a vk with a bogan in it today i new it was a bogan because he had a sticker on the back that said FLANGE now what the f**k ... i refer flange as a womans pus sy if thats what he is calling himself so be it but when i actually saw him i think flange in sticker form was the only think coming his way......i had my digital camera on me to i was so tempted to take a pic but he took off that flange was to quick for me...

    • If as it's stalling, the fuel pressure rises, it's saying there's less vacuum in the intake manifold. This is pretty typical of an engine that is slowing down.   While typically is agree it sounds fuel related, it really sounds fuel/air mixture related. Since the whole system has been refurbished, including injectors, pump, etc, it's likely we've altered how well the system is delivering fuel. If someone before you has messed with the IACV because it needed fiddling with as the fuel system was dieing out, we need to readjust it back. Getting things back to factory spec everywhere, is what's going to help the entire system. So if it idles at 400rpm with no IACV, that needs raising. Getting factory air flow back to normal will help us get everything back in spec, and likely help chase down any other issues. Back on IACV, if the base idle (no IACV plugged in) is too far out, it's a lot harder for the ECU to control idle. The IACV duty cycle causes non linear variations in reality. When I've tuned the idle valves in the past, you need to keep it in a relatively narrow window on aftermarket ecus to stop them doing wild dances. It also means if your base idle is too low, the valve needs to open too much, and then the smallest % change ends up being a huge variation.
    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
