Good day gone bad. OH VERY BAD!

pulled into BP woden at about 11pm... after standing waiting for one guy to leave... Some Chick reverses out of a booth, straight into the front of my car.

Yes.. straight into Fibreglass, glass, metal... everything.

IM NOT HAPPY!

Can anyone help me in what Smash repairer is the Best! the only one! The best one! my front bar is a unique Kit and id like to save it, my colour is very hard to impossible to match, as ive been told my many many Painters and repairers..

So any good repaireres out there?

thats f**ked dude, but i can help you out maybe, one of my mates shops got top 10 and 1st place for engine bay in summernats, they are where cams trimmers and pirteck use to be in fyshwick near BBC they are one of the best.

Canberra restroations or something like that.

I'll 2nd Mivec's post-Farugia's is the top place in Canberra(only licenced Porsche/Lambo/BMW repairer,from memory,and they wont just send their cars to anyone...),but they have been known to be picky about what they'll work on.If "stupid offender" is paying for the damage,I'd be off to see Farugia's in a flash.If she's not paying(ie:you are),I'd still save and go and see Tony and his crew if I were you...

Dave Smash Repairs in Queanbeyan... a few forum members have used that place and the result has always been excellent.

Depends on how busy Farugia is as to wether or not they will take your car, their prioritys lie with the more exotic automobiles availible unfortunately.

She stuck around, was very sorry and all the rest.. Told me she had insurance... rang me this morning and told me her insurance ran out 3days ago.. so yea.. Out of her pocket by the looks of things.

Saw you drive past Dayne.. you prob wouldnt of seen anything as its front damage.. The bar is pretty screwed.. i hope it can be repaired.

My biggest worry is the matching of the paint... i dont want a diff colour car at the front to the back.

SkyGTRline sorry to hear your car got hit that's shitty cards. Farrugia is good. Depending on your insurance company you can nominate the repairer but you might have to wait for 3 weeks to get in. I've also had good results with Grace in Fyshwick - straight and easy to deal with, they did a great job on a long scrape in the LH rear 1/4 of a Bravo, charcoal metallic - good finish, good colour etc. As for matching a lot of them will say they can't. Move on. It's never impossible, any colour can be matched, they just have to know how. Problem is a lot of repairers just use digital colour matching now rather than matching by eye. You are obviously proud of the car. Be relentless in your search. Time for a silver flame job on the nose?

tony is, hands down, the best in canberra. if its any idea of his work, ferrari, lambo, porsche, among many others, send their cars from all over australia to his shop. rest assured, it'll be as close to perfect as can be.

but realistically, i'd hazard a guess that he "might" turn your car away. he usually only does insurance work/prestige/euro work. your average kitted beast is not where he pitches himself in the marketplace so don't be offended if he says no....

new gel are a pack of wank3rs imo. and while jerry's a top block, specify you don't want a front bar made out of bog if he does the work

prestige and athol morris would be my other suggestions.

yea i personally wont ever be going back to newgel the work they did on my car despite originally thinking it was ok since closer inspection i reckon it has been done very average...
