Whats up guys. Im moving overseas soon and i'll be getting a R32 gtst there.

There are no major rules against modifying like here in OZ so i just wanted to know what mods i can get done to the car...the catch being that there are no dyno facilities there so when should i stop modifying the engine ( tuning problems with bigger turbo's, power fc, etc)

Can u tell me what turbo and computer will be best for my situation.

Ive got suspension, etc covered but i dont wanna be stuck with just a fmic, boost controller, etc.

My goal is around 200 rwkw ( i dont exactly know how i will measure this :D

Do u think its possible cos there are a few fast cars there such as BMW M3 Coupe, R34 GTR to name a few and i wanna keep up with them( i know its a big ask ;)

Thanks for your time and consideration guys.

cheers

If it was me I'd be doing a crash course in the pfc, microtech or many others, with an exhaust sensor you can do a tune with 2 ppl while driving.

For 200kw on my rb25 i have pod, 3" turbo back, intercooler, 1bar, fuel pump/reg, and microtech. Without the microtech I had lots less kw but was running shite.

Duh slaps forehead. You can do all your mods then get a chip custom made for them so whayever you do theres some one out there who can do it for you.

250-260rwkw:

3" dump pipe / front pipe combo

3" hiflow cat

3" cat back exhaust

electronic boost controller

550cc injectors

apexi powerfc

gtr fuel pump

gtr front mount intercooler

hks gt-rs turbocharger

tomei 260 poncams

z32 airflow meter

heavy duty clutch

good tyres

good driver

200rwkw:

3" dump pipe / front pipe combo

3" hiflow cat

3" cat back exhaust

electronic boost controller

apexi powerfc

gtr fuel pump

gtr front mount intercooler

good tyres

good driver

youll still need a good tuner and a good dyno to make either combo work

    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
