...  The car will be sold with a RB20DET, or possibly a RB25DET  ....

What does it have in there now?

Would the 25 have a 25 box as well? Has the 25 been in there previously?

Otherwise it looks very nice.

Currently has a RB30det in it.

Would consider selling with the RB30det and an Aftermarket ECU for a bit extra.

Let me know what you think.

Just had a look back through your previous posts about the rb30det, very impressive.. didn't see the bit under your name before..

You were going to put this motor into the gts4..?

Has the car had a respray at all?

How many kms has the chassi done?

Would the 5sp be the same one behind the RB30 (if so what box is it?)?

With a low km RB25 and RB25 5sp box, I would probably pay 15k. I'll be looking to buy in around 3 months time :)

The car HASN'T been re-sprayed since its been in australia ( im first owner in australia), it could have been done in japan because the condition of the paint is still immaculate.

Car has done 103,000 kms.

Currently has got a very good RB25 turbo gearbox in it (will sell with the car if Offered enough).

Where are you located?

I'm in Adelaide, southern suburbs. I currently have a '31 as a daily driver, but soon will be getting work/lease vehicle. When I do, will be selling '31 and wife's pulsar (as she will drive lease car), and upgrading to a '32.

From the photo's yours seems like a nice clean car, and I would like a 25 inside :D . Just need to wait for approval of lease car etc. then sell the '31. So will be around 3 months at least before I look to buy.

hey lee i met this fellow (sorry bud forgot ur name) at the dyno day when i still had my old car... its a beautiful car! well worth looking into. he knows his shit a mutual aquaintace - vltnitron  (name again? :D )- said he does all the tuning himself with an ems

personally I'd pay the extra to have the RB30 and ECU..

especially when you calculate how much you'd spend to get that power and drivability yourself.

good luck with your sale mate and good choice of car to upgrade to.

I'd be interested in your progress and problems you might run in to with rb30ing the gts4

his name is carlos(or andrew), can vouch for the condition of this car is in excellent condition, If you guys are looking for a car thats already done this is the one.

the car has had to have been resprayed before because it's very straight and shiny.

Very torquey thats 4 sure

Yes will be interesting to see how the GTS4 handles the RB30 torque.....

i will be extremeley interested to see what you break first on the GTS-4 will u be leaving the drive train standard on the GTS4 and is it R32 or R33

ive been told the R33 GTS4 has GTR axels up front its only the crown and pinion that is a different ratio

ive been unfortunate to bust 1 crown and pinion in mine and am still paying for it ;)

    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
    • My dream is also to have a proper hoist, but I don't think it will ever happen. My quickjack is probably as close as I'll ever get, it really is very good though.
    • Yeah we keep on in the dailies, it is pretty poor how many animals get hit and the driver leaves without checking....have saved a couple of little ones over the years. Bit of a gruesome job though, pouches generally need to be cut open because they are so tight and often the joey doesn't realise mum is gone so they are still locked onto the teat. I checked the modules in front of the DS wheel where an oil cooler should go.... There is the radar unit - that can go for race use) One of the 2 HX water pumps, the silver cylinder. That needs to be kept but might be able to be relocated But the bad news, the big computer mounted vertically in front of the wheel (blocking any potential air exit) is the electric steering computer. That is required until/unless i do a hydraulic steering conversion, and in CAD based modern car design it is not like I can just pop a big unit like that somewhere else (plus the loom would be too short anywhere else too). So, the passenger side is OK to clear out (just use a smaller washer reservoir, potentially elsewhere), but the DS no beuno
    • Well, all the best with the new camry It was interesting to hear about the UK process, it is generally a lot more streamlined here with a shipping agent looking after all the import side (noting the exact final price can still be a surprise.....) and I've used a few different brokers on the japan (or US) side, and never had any trouble with any of them....luck of the draw I guess. You mentioned you didn't get the auction sheet (understandable since you bought it from a dealer, not auction), but I always try and get hold of that because they are pretty thorough. I've imported 2x R grade vehicles over the years and both were fine, repairs in Japan are pretty thorough compared to here in Oz.
    • BTW I measured the jack I have, it is 70mm at the saddle but you only have about 700 until it returns to 150mm high at the cylinder so it is good but no magic bullet.
