  1. As I said above, quieter and better wiping isn't the main problem. If the non metal one slips out, the arm will scratch the window. I have this nasty scratch on my daily driver's windscreen. Mum must have driven with a broken blade for like 5 years or something. BTW, You don' ahve to spend 23$ ffor genuine nissan ones. Nissan don't make wiper blades. Bosch - avaialble at supercheap auto make metal insert ones. Just get the right length ones.
  2. I never bother about rotating tyres. There is no need to wear them all equally so you replace all 4 at once. I stick by the brand of tyre that I use and always use the same one anyways. Not that ther eis a problem having different tyres on different axles. You should be right regarding the embankment if you only hit it at 5ks. I've mounted a kerb twice at 30ks. Silly me, but i wasn't used to the tight turning circle of the skyline in the beginning. I wouldn't have turned.
  3. fat31, I wouldn't expect those ones that b82rz world sell to work very well, because they're cheap. I can tell you for a fact that the one on the au falcon doesn't work very well because there is rust on one of my panels. But if done properly, it works very well. Cheers
  4. Hey guys, sorry if i seemed a little rough up above. As MK2 said, they are normally used on boats, wharves, buildings by the sea and cars in snowy areas/rainy (chemicals such as salt added to the road surface increase corrosion rate). I dunno how good that system is. It might be total shit as you said, or it might work. Never tested it. I have a friend that regularly works on boats, and appplied voltage is the bees knee. It works very well. Once again, sorry.
  5. My front bar is quiet a bit lower than that. I've been so scared that one day i'm going to be half asleep and then boom - straighit into the curb. **Touches wood**
  6. Um, actually, any of you guys that are laughing at this device are very wrong. It is corrosion protection by applied voltage. Corrosion is a chemical process which can be prevented by many ways. It is a reaction that requires water and oxygen. Obviously painting it or covering it so there is no oxygen will prevent corrosion. It can also be prevented by attachign a sacrificial anode - like on big ships. A block of magnesium is attached. Same as in your big water heaters. Applied voltage is another such method. It sets up a galvanic cell. It's not something that you can just bung on any car. Like it's not "just a ground wire". It is a special device. All panels are linked to it. It actually works. I have tested it using cast iron. Ford Falcon AU comes with this from the factory. Research it before you knock it.
  7. If you haev standard boat suspensions, sure, it will rock around when you turn side to side. My subaru does it all the time.
  8. Whoa, liz, are you 184? that's tall for a girl. You're the same height as me. I dunno about the sunroof car, but in my non sunroof one, there is plenty of headspace. Regarding changing the seat - you can get any aftermarket nice japanese seat with rail for about 500 odd dollars. It's as simpe as unbolting 4 bolts and rebolting it. STraight bolt in. Sits about 1" lower.
  9. Patto and others, i've replied your pm
  10. May sound silly, but is it still running the same boost?
  11. Hey o2 sensor is only used for cruise. You can disconnect it if you like, it won't affect it when you floor it. full boost by 3000rpm. are you sure? My rb25 hits full boost at like 3000rpm. On my friend's r32, it used to hit 10 psi at about 4000+rpm. Just fitting the dump definitely would not make it slower. If you compare it to the stock dump, it really opens up the exhaust.
