    the thing that is still puzzling me and always has been is this: New Attessa fluid isn't black. Every A-LSD car i've seen has black fluid - mine included. How do you bleed it - I'm talking proper nissan manual pages. And also, evidence of what fluid to use. not just I think it is powersteer. No one on sau has been able to answer this yet. I'm still ocnfused.

    It's sorta like the attessa. It is just a gay oil pump controlled unit which directs power to the front wheels. They could have just used a centre diff and made it full time awd. The A-lsd is supposed to be better.

    There's no point cleaning the 'stuff' in the diff centre. that is just your standard diff oil. If you just change that a couple of times, it'll be clean. I've done that on my car a couple times already. The thing that is sitll puzzling me is the oil feed system - not the diff itself.

    Paul, after that removal and refit, did you change the fluid and bleed the system? Can you once and for all confirm that it is indeed attessa fluid and also the procedure about how to bleed it?

    Chris I'm in exactly the same position as you mate. I tell you what, i'm really busy with uni work atm. As you've said, you've still got other things to do first. How about we both go for a tune in the chrissy holidays. like beginning of december:)

    no, sorry, the strut top pattern and brace length is different.

    Terminals don't make much difference at all. Compared to a set of terminals that are cleaned. I work in a related industry.

    One thing you will notice though is that the hks pod makes a lot more noise than the apexi. Therefore, theoretically, it should flow more. However, this would be at mega power levels. At stockish power levels, any extra flow won't give more power. On a 1000kw car, it probably would.

    Agreed very much so with govich and Ltheorejreweriowere Put in 4. then add, check, repeat. I've never put in more than 4.5-6 L. You can never get it all out.

    big improvement, but will still leak. Regarding the terminals - if you had to change the terminals, then you've bought the wrong battery. Head down to battery world in ryde - on concord road. They have batteries big small, all sorts of terminals, sealed, leakers, etc.

    That's not even remotely acceptable. I thoguht that it was a joke at first. If that was me, I would be on the verge of crying.

    I have used all sorts of batteries in the past. The thing I hate is normal/maintenace free batteries how they leak acid everywhere. Makes things go rusty. In my 33, because the batt is in the boot, I went with a sealed battery. From now on, i'll get a sealed one no matter what car it is.

    From what others have said, it is the hamfisting of third when dragging. You're trying to shift as mcuh as possible and slam it into third at near wot. Apparently it is this mashing of third that kills it. Just shifting easily into third then planting it, even with moderate power hasn't really killed any boxes on this forum to my knowledge (rb20 boxes excluded because they're like a twig).
