  1. Drift is a brand - they are an autobarn type ricer brand targetting people with excels/lancers etc who wanna be fully sik - it's just a cheap pod.
  2. I personaly wouldn't trust a drift filter. You can't tell how well they filter etc. I might have a hks filter for sale in a little bit. I'll pm you if I do.
  3. I would be interested if you could get more stuff and make more
  4. fuel pump is fine. may need fpr depending on duty cycle. stock ecu may not like 12psi (rich and retard). search
  5. do you happen to have the piece of boot trim that covers the underside of the bootlid itself? willing to sell? I'm also in sydney.
  6. swap ya for 5L of used engine oil + used oil filter **note, this is a genuine offer
  7. The block to speak to will be wrxhoon. He knows his stuff, and I belkieve what he says. Sydneykid on the otherhand does not beleive it can happen. Many other people have experienced this. I believe gtr geoff did too? I can't remember the exacts of it, but basically, it's the ceramic exhaust wheel. What happens, is it hits the turbo housing, and breaks into little pieces forming dust. due to the valve timing, at certain times, the engine is under vaccum - keep in mind there are only 3 cylinders. it is much less likely to happen in a gtst with all 6 poushing gas continuously through the exhaust. basicall,y it's not going to kill your motor straight away. it's not like it won't start. what it does do is scratch the cylinder and the piston. wrxhoon still has the pistons he removed from the engine after the stock turbo blew. My suggestion would be to definitely don't drive it. dump the engine oil through coffee filter paper. if you feel grittiness in there, then I would imagine it would be rebuild time.
  8. Brad Just a question - are you using the cable ties to hold the goss pumps to the bracket inside the fuel tank? Doesn't the fuel dissolv ethe plastic? I've always been stumped on what to use to hold the fuel pump when doing a replacement. I was thinking of using a hose clamp.
  9. Located in St Ives Not in any rush to sell the product. $390. these retail for $450, and it has been used 3 times.
  10. Stick your head behind the accelerator. There is a clip thingy that is clipped onto the metal rod. you have to unclip this using a flathead screwdriver. it's easy. In regards to installing the pedals, momo have many different types. Use common sense. it's easy.
  11. That is correct. I have not received any reply from this bloke. Still for sale.
  12. I have personally seen and ridden in the car myself. Fellars, this car is excellent condition. Good paint, low ks. Car also has a nice bundle of goodies. Excellent value. The car is very quick for its mods. Although car has not been dynoed, I would estimate the pre highflow power with a fmic and powerfc to be 200-205rwkw. The highflow should make 220-250 rwkw. Good luck with the sale.
  13. I am seriously really interested in doin gthis mod, but i have no idea where to start. There does not seem to be that much room in the engine bay to mount the things. Where do we put the brackets etc?
  14. Mate, I don't know what you're trying to do, but i have a few pointers. The solenoid itself is quite restrictive, and does not let much air through. Also, I don't know if you've like hooked it up to power etc, but just try it. Get a bit of vaccuum hosing, and blow on it when the solenoid is open and closed to test it.
  15. Unfortunate circumstances have come up and i'm selling my car. My HID kit is for sale separately. If anyone wants it, it's in the for sale section. h1 6000K. Includes 1.5 year warranty instead of the normal 1 year. Only used for 3 days, then it was removed. Includes everything.
  16. 19" isn't the problem, as the rolling diametre should remain the same. In fact, some members of the forumn even have 20 " wheels keeping almost the same diametre. I have never seen 21" wheels on a skyline, but that would have to be near the max. Offset and width are the main causes of scraping
  17. I don't know how much it costs to 'install an external relay' as in labour. But it is certainly very easy. It would take me about 5 minutes to add the extra relay to the alarm system. Cost of the relay is aobut $5 and the relay holder is $4 from dicksmith/jaycar, whatever. If you've got no electronics experience, then you will hae to get someone to do it for you.
  18. The thing i'm looking for is one that is straight bolt on. That is, no holes drilled etc. Coz the area where the strut is located on the r33 is very very tight, and would be difficult to retrofit one myself. That's why I'd prefer to pay $200 for something that bolts straight onto the stock bracket.
  19. Fellars, HID kit is still for sale.
  20. Brand is Kaixen. Price is very good. The group buy which was organised earlier only had 1 year warranty. Mine has 1.5 years. Like I said, it's only 1 week old.
  21. power fc allows you to adjust the rpm at which it occurs. To turn it off, you just set it past the rev limiter e.g. 12000rpm.
  22. Cubes, I think that would naturally be the case, ebcause the 10w 50 is simply more viscious. E.g. if you had a castrol in the 5w40 and a 10w50, I think you'd probably find the same thing woudl occur. The 5 w 40 would froth easier. I would imagine that a 0 w 30 would froth even easier when shaken in your bottle. Am I right? please correct me if i'm not.
