  1. Based in Sydney, 2003 M35 250T RS4 Any help would be great!
  2. Good call I might contact my auto electrician mate and see if he can sort it out. I'm located near Parramatta in Sydney.
  3. Yeh? Do you have any suggestions as to who I would go to to get that done?
  4. Hey, My drivers side power window motor has just died and I'm looking for a replacement. Has anyone got a list of compatible part numbers (from v35, 350z or other?) so I can avoid the $500 one from Nissan? Or alternatively an idea of where I should be looking (other than yahoo jap as it's fairly urgent). REALLY don't wanna get stuck buying the $500 model haha. Thanks!
  5. Thanks everyone. very helpful advice, steered me away from a terrible decision! Ended up going with the HPX pads all around so hopefully they are as good as you all say haha
  6. Is there any disadvantage to getting the A1RM pad if doing little to no track use (other than cost)?
  7. Sorry for the complete noob question but I wanted to be sure before I ordered them and can't find an answer on the site. I have a 2003 m35 250t rs4, are these the right model numbers for the QFM A1RM brake pads: Front: http://gslrallysport.com/au/qfm-db1232a1rm-brake-pads.html Rear: http://gslrallysport.com/au/brakes/brake-pads/db1509a1rm-qfm-a1rm-brake-pads.html thanks!
  8. Man! Cleanest looking m35 I've seen thus far. I wish I hadn't just bought my current one. Amazing! Well done
  9. Yeh it is a good point, I'll see if I can get it checked. Nah unfortunately warranty is finished now, it's a north shore prestige import but i'm second aus owner and the guy before me lived right on the beach so I think it's just come from there (not driven into the ocean haha) That is really helpful, thanks mate! Yeh CAM angle, mass airflow and one other (I can't remember what it was as I didn't do it but it's right up next to the firewall and half way down the engine, It was a pain in the ass to get to). Thanks for the advice! For some reason I can't open that file? I'll check it when I'm out the office though and see if that makes any difference. Thanks
  10. haha my bank account is terrified also. Yeh I think it is definitely something worth addressing. You are 100% correct. Apparently the fuel tank was full of sand, as was the throttle body and everything else (according to hills...) however, I have it on good authority that the fuel pump and filter was replaced (Craig Jetwreck managed to oversee the job). How would I diagnose a blocked injector?
  11. Hi All, I've been dealing with this issue for a few months now and virtually everybody I've spoken to about it is stumped (jetwreck helped out HEAPS with this but still haven't quite gotten to the bottom of it) so if you have any thoughts as to what might be causing this (no matter how unusual) It would be greatly appreciated: My 2003 M35 Stagea has a stalling issue. It seems to stall more frequently when cold however it still stalls when warm. Generally it seems to stall when the car is changing up gears (usually when taking off at the lights), however this is not always as sometimes it will stall when leaving it to warm up in the driveway. Once it has stalled it takes a few minutes to get it going again, it tries to turn over but won't get there and you can hear that the fuel pump isn't running. Obvious solution is sensors however now virtually every probable sensor has been replaced. Fuel pump and filter have been replaced. I've gone through and cleaned all the plugs as the engine bay was full of sand when I bought it. My current thoughts are faulty immobiliser or key barrel but it's a long shot and seems unlikely. Other strange things that MAY be related: ECU sometimes gives the Boost sensor A malfunction error code, but it seems to come and go. I occasionally get a 4WD warning light after stalling (ATTESA fluid is topped up). Fuel mileage is rubbish, might be normal but I've sometimes hit low fuel light at 250kms of 98 (O2 sensors havent been replaced but this wouldn't cause stalling would it?). Auto power windows switch doesn't work, goes up halfway then back down. This all may sound irrelevant but I am getting near my tolerance of this issue and wanna get it sussed out. Any random thoughts would be super helpful! Thanks all
  12. Hi all, Just curious, what are the aftermarket exhaust options for the M35? Something that is reasonably quiet but a bit of volume increase is not a drama. Mostly just interested in what the options are on either end of the spectrum? Thanks all
  13. Thank you all, very helpful advice!
  14. Hi All, I hope this doesn't already exist but I'm looking for some recommendations and thought it would be useful to have all this information in one place. Looking for a decent M35 Stagea mechanic who can perform a full service AND repairs, and the biggest killer is I really need to be able to do it over a weekend. Any suggestions? Hills Motorsport don't open weekends and North Shore Prestige don't do much beyond a service (please correct me if I'm wrong). Any suggestions would be great, thanks! Western Sydney would also be amazing but am willing to travel a bit.
  15. Hi Craig, I would love to come down it's just finding the time. Working full time out west, no where near hornsby haha. I'll see what I can do and give you a call! Thanks for popping up. Update: Today is the first day I had the check engine light come on, I got ECU codes of 0100 (P0100 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Malfunction) and 0235 (P0235 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Malfunction). I cleaned the mass airflow sensor and still the same code appeared (and it stalled at the first test). Starting to get pretty concerned about this, any suggestions anyone? Also have a periodic 4WD error light, could this be related (checked ATTESA fluid and it's full).
  16. Yes I have, why do you ask?
  17. No I didn't. And excuse my ignorance but how do I do that? a bit of a noob haha sorry
  18. Hi All, Sorry if this has been asked a million times before but my M35 Stagea (Auto) is having stalling issues. It seems to pick it's days (ie. it won't stall for 3-4 days, then stall 5-6 times in one day, mostly worse when it's not 100% warmed up). I have replaced the fuel pump and filters, cleaned the throttle body (mostly just dirt, but did appear to have a little oil in it - please not leaky turbo :S?). I am going to attempt to clean the AFM and have a new air filter on it's way. Any other thoughts? The only other issue that I'm aware of at this stage is the 4WD light coming on from time to time (I'm fairly confident it's just low on ATESSA fluid but just haven't got around to replenishing yet), is there any chance these are related? Any help would be amazing! Thanks
  19. New wheels, air filter replaced, throttle body cleaned. Running like a dream!
  20. Hi, Sorry if this has already been asked. Does anyone know anything about installing the stock M35 pop up unit (don't really care about the unit itself, just the pop up housing) into a model that has the mini glove box instead? Is it possible? If so would you have to replace the much of the dash or is their some simple way of doing it? Something like this: http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=http://page19.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x224227734&thumb=http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/f63batchimg.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/7/4/0/2/kawakami777-thumb-1339226633723640.jpg&title=U%20036%20M35%20TV%206%205 Also anyone selling one?
  21. Thanks for the advice, also got some bearing and tyre issues so I will definitely get it sussed out this weekend if I can! And thanks to everyone elses advice haha, most of it was helpful
  22. Hi, I noticed a troubling sound on my 03 M35 (not ARX), when I am slowing down to a complete stop once and I get down to about about 20kph I get a random intermittent 'knocking' sound that sounds like its coming from the rear passenger wheel. Any thoughts? I have also noticed that occasionally the 4WD warning light (well I assume it's a warning light?) comes on which may be related. I haven't got means to read the engine codes at this stage so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  23. The button is gone and in its place is a 'push down' mechanism. You just push it into the floor instead of pressing the button.
  24. Hi I know this issue has been discussed many times however I haven’t seen anything recently and was wondering if anyone has got OBDII or equivalent to work on their M35 Stagea (mines 2003)? Basically I am hoping to run Torque (Android App) to get engine codes, live engine information etc. Anybody? Thanks
