  1. Man you are easy to stir up! Actually the problem with revving and the stroke is it will sound shit.
  2. Don't fill when tanker there...... What if its filling up diesel and you are buying premium? I'm sure tonnes of people buy fuel when the tanker is there and they are fine. I personally couldn't care less. But I suppose if you live a particularly cautious life this list is something else to add to your worries

  6. Holy shit. You really are struggling aren't you man.... How many sources refered to a slump? The slump doesn't exist. The sump is different between awd and rwd. Which is the oil pan. Which has a diff in it for an rb26. Which you should google what differential is for an explanation. And maybe what awd is as to why there is a diff in the front.

  8. Was the car tuned for the other bov? If so that's your problem. It would have been accounted for losing the air
  9. Stock turbo stock rb26 with dialed cams would give you response you want.....

  11. Man. You keep going on about response. I'm going to very interested to see if it will ever match the response of your old car. I'm sure it will make a tonne of power, but the response will probably never be what you want or expect. A na car converted to turbo will be more responsive. Especially consider your last car had variable cam timing etc. I really look forward to your result, but have said it before, a supercharged v8 would have been a more sensible choice.
  12. Why aren't you using the stock gasket?Seems weird to have to use a cork gasket. I've made heaps of adaptors and have used stock gaskets no worries.
  13. Why is it v35 people have so much trouble getting an exhaust? Go to exhaust shop, tell them what you want. Pay them drive off

  16. If you can't manage to find info on how to tune give up now. There are dedicated forums, heaps of info all over this forum and the net.
  17. Its a comp cam. The aggressive lobes, can't remember at the moment. Realistically it doesn't need more low torque, cos low revs your just cruising, when you want to boot it you rev it out. Easy.

  19. I run a 232 234 112 cam and it certainly isn't a pig. And it doesn't need 5000 to come alive. Compared to stock the power and torque started climbing substantially from 2500 rpm. Perhaps the Ines you experienced were shit tunes. Not for a split second would I want a smaller can. Auto its a different story.
  20. Try squirting some graphite powder in there. That shit rules. If that doesn't do it you'll have to pull it apart and inspect the lock, or get a locksmith to do it. But putting a key in a car door is way too old school for me.....
  21. That's for you to decide isn't it....Heaps of people have no worries with second hand turbos. Obviously there is a risk though.
