  1. Gayer than aids...
  2. All R33 GTST Coupes have them in the boot. R33 GTST S1 Sedan's are Boot, but R33 S2 Sedan's are under the bonnet I believe
  3. Good to hear your all sorted out mate
  4. Well there was rumour that there may be an AWD model using parts developed on the Territory... be interesting if its true. I Just saw this on forddorums:
  5. Here's the reworked XR6T Engine
  6. 5" Catco Round body here... I noticed a difference changing from stock
  7. Garage Saurus has colour coded all the carbon on its white R35 GTR. ^^^^This Shot really gives it the supercar styling Nissan Wanted inho^^^^ Hands down my favourite GTR to come from a Japanese tuning company yet! http://www.gtrblog.com/index.php?blog=4&am...p;tb=1&pb=1
  8. Un-believeable... please pm me workshop also as I am traveling to melb for work on my car soon.
  9. ARC, Koyo, A'PEXi (but probably hard to find), SARD, all make radiators for Skylines.
  10. Correct moobaque. I use oil with a viscosity rating of 30 but my motor is new... The only time it is not advisable to use a Synthetic oil is during the run in period...
  11. Their all interchangable. You can even fit a R33 GTR cluster into a GTST if you want... you'd just loose the boost gauge.
  12. http://www.royalpurple.com.au/ It's available online from Hi Octane, and also from ebay.
  13. Correct, if you get underneath the car on the side of the gearbox you will see the slave cylinder. It pushes the clutch fork which penetrates the bellhousing and is sealed from the outside elements by a rubber boot. I have not done this myself, but what you "could" do is slide the hose up past the rubber boot and spray a bit of chain oil up there against the clutch fork. I Probably wouldnt spray too much though...
  14. OS Giken STR2CD I enjoy it. Standard clutch's feel very loose now...
  15. When you do an oil change you have to let it flow to the sump before you check the oil level. Same goes after the motor has been running. If you check it straight after switching the motor off it will be an innacurrate reading as the oil is still flowing back down to the sump from the head etc, so let it settle for a good 15 mins or so in those situations. I use Royal Purple 5W 30, Nissan Recommends 7.5W 30
  16. Did you let the motor sit to let the oil settle back down to the normal level? Also Ideally you'd probably want to run something closer to what Nissan recommends such as a 5W 30 instead of the thicker 5W 50 (the last number is the viscosity rating when hot, lower number = thinner)
  17. <25 + Perfect driving record. R33 With RB30DET + all the usual mods to go along I asked for a quote to suit my recently completed conversion with justcars today: $1900 premium + $3100 excess or $1100 + $4200excess. or $606 for Third Party property & fire and theft. I also enquired with Famous who I've been with for 5+ years: $2456 + $2000 excess... very annoying as after all this time they were not willing to lower their premium to keep a long time customer. Bottom line is, if you've spent alot of money modifying your car, expect to pay alot for insurance.
  18. You pretty much got your answer @ post 2 Unless it was a deep-cycle battery it's probably cactus, could try getting a little more life out of it with some battery conditioner to de-sulphate the lead plates, but generally it will never be the same as a new one.
  19. Ofcourse... Just buy 5L of oil and a new filter and measure how much you use. From then on you'll know exactly how much is required...
  20. I went down this path 4 weeks ago, did myself a favour and purchased an Odyssey PC680. Fits in the R33 boot nicely and works with the factory R33 terminals which is a nice change. Only downside is the cost, I paid $380 for it but according to Odyssey it should last around 10 years...
  21. Engine manual recommends 4.4L if you change the filter with the oil
  22. Workshop manual states that when hot for an RB25DET you should achive the following: Idle: 1.1 kg/cm2 2000rpm 3.5 kg/cm2 6000rpm 5.6 kg/cm2 Odly, the RB26DETT should be higher at idle, and lower at revs (slightly) Refer to attachment I have uploaded for relevant Oil pressure readings. Skyline_Oil_Pressure.pdf
  23. Ditch the R32 Power steering set-up all together and get an RB25 unit. They should be cheap on these forums in the private sellers section, ask people who are stripping cars.
  24. I live in Griffith NSW... the City where Andrew Farrugia was tragically killed by an Aboriginal youth as he was waiting for a taxi on NYE 2007. I have seen how many Aboriginals behave and how they consider themselves to be elevated to hero status after the event but I'll leave it there. I dont believe in what you said... infact I think you've turned a mountain out of a mole hill by your're reaction there. What I do believe in is standing up for yourself in these situations.
  25. And let them walk all over the rest of us?????
