  2. My setup is very similar to Al's except i've used cable ties and stainless woven mesh I pinched from work. In approx 3 years of driving, Hitting occasional birds etc not a hint of damage to the cooler.... I would recommend stainless woven mesh over the conventional crap available from supercheap /a.barn as it's much stronger and will not tear/deform. Try any large engineering business to source it.
  3. I dont think that steering wheel would suit a skyline... just sayin But its your car

  6. Cover the seats and door inserts in camel (coloured) leather... I guess you could try glassing the a/c vents to get a different look but why bother?
  7. Surely it cant be getting registered, must be for race??
  8. Same... wouldnt change a thing
  9. The short answer is no. The S1 fog light's also have a blinker. It's orange also, just smaller.... If you ever find some clear indicators let us know though...
  10. I've sent and received wheels and tyres through TNT. Last time received tyres was two weeks ago and it was $65 for 4 18" x 265's Since most of these companies go by size not weight it shouldn't be much more than that.
  11. Hi Guys, Need an Oil pressure sender R33/R34 doesn't matter as they're both the same
  12. Your coil packs may get wet...
  13. Ah my old thread. I ended up using an input shaft from the mechanic's workshop here at work. Apparently it was a Navara shaft... It worked but dropping the motor down onto the gb with an OS twin plate was still no easy task. Only a fraction of a mm was enough for one plate to be out of alignment and It wouldnt go. Cranking the motor over at the balancer using a breaker bar with the clutch almost all of the way on helped. Dropping the rear gearbox mounts and using a jack on the bell housing to get the right angle is also critical. I wouldnt do it like that if I had my time again... mating the gearbox to an already installed motor is alot less frustrating. Atleast in my experiences anyway.
  14. I had the exact same problem. 2nd hand Clutch etc... I didnt end up fixing it as my plan's changed and ended up going with a different clutch. Will be interested to see how you go though.
  15. Ricol Automotive from Sydney built mine. Had it sent down to Griffith NSW and I've done the rest....

  18. I will be converting to a 16" thermo fan as part of my RB30DET conversion. Fan will be spaced approx 30-40mm off the radiator and use the stock shroud. Fan opperation will be speed controlled using a picaxe micro controller and stand-alone temperature probe. The whole process has been halted at the moment due to the x-mas break though...
  19. I remember reading they fit too
  20. +1 for Jap rims on Jap Save the Chrome for 4x4's, Lexus's and the VS crumble-dores lol

  24. I was just searching for Nissan parts online and came accross this store http://www.nissanpartstore.com/ Brought up a few part numbers in fast and punched them in. They seem to stock parts much much cheaper than Nissan AU Only problem is deciding whether they're trustworthy or not... Anyone dealt with them before?
  25. The other source of white smoke would be head gasket failure. But since you have said there is no discolouration of the coolant and oil you can be fairly certain it is the water seal in the turbo. You could also try running the motor with the radiator cap off and check for a blown head asket that way. It would be worth investigating a highflow turbo from GCG or similar company once the turbo is off. Or you could source a second hand one from these forums.
