  1. Northside power!
  2. I found both those plugs under my seats but my dash seat belt warning light still works properly??
  3. Get a workshop to give it a very thorough going over as the compliance process doesn't require that the engine be in great shape. Not in the area so can't recommend anyone for you unfortunately. Also I'd suggest getting a rego inspection done at the same time (pink slip in NSW i think?) because some things that pass compliance may not necessarily pass rego in all states. Good luck.
  4. Vortex is only 95 Ron. Would most likely be the cause of your problems. There is a Shell at Batemans Bay with Optimax on the way to batehaven for future reference.
  5. Oh and btw Intercooler - Source the cooler/piping yourself and you will save a few hundred at least. Shouldn't be more than a few hundred to do the install if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself.
  6. Run the diagnostic mode on the climate control and it may be able to identify for you exactly what is wrong prior to taking it in for repairs. This is likely to save some money as they won't waste time trying to figure out what is wrong. Not sure exactly what the method for diag mode on the 33 is but it can be found on here by doing a search on climate control diagnostic mode. On my 34 you have to hold the off button for 5 seconds within 10 seconds of starting the car, from memory it is a very similar process on the 33. Hope this helps.
  7. Yes they do appeal to everyone. I pulled into my local shops the other day and was checking out a grey 34 there, next minute a lady and her son jump out. I was shocked. She then came over and started to chat to me about our cars, was a nice surprise. I'll be around on the 17th but I'm oncall so not sure if thats good.
  8. Once again: "The high powered Nissan Skyline" Lets bash imports more ignorant media.
  9. I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of some unichip software so I can get my 34 tuned correctly. I refuse to take it back to a certain unichip dealer here so that they can butcher my car again and charge an arm and a leg for it. Did a search of these forums with no luck and a search of the web but couldn't seem to find it. Thanks
  10. 1. Newer - less expensive to maintain(usually) as less things are worn out. 2. Lower Km generally 3. Rarer, much much rarer than 33s here in Canberra. 4. Styling is much more aggressive in my opinion. 5. More power and torque stock. 6. May hold their value better as they are the last(at this stage) Turbo Skyline and not many of them coming into the countriy.
  11. Great article. Might look into this for my GTT.
  12. I didn't think it would be worth the risk being double demerit points and all.
  13. Just had a look at your wheels on carsales and realised it was someone else. As you said though very similar looking car.
  14. Think I spotted Blackdoggette at Civic Video in Belconnen.
  15. Already down for one. Dealth with Bass on the last group buy and would highly recommend his work.
  16. I think it took a lot of guts to post this. Hat off to you. Although really, it's not your fault that someone mislead you in the first place.
  17. Very interested but I can't say for sure until I have a closer look at my intake and see how exactly my pod has been fitted. But after the last group buy I can highly recommend Bass's work. Great quality air guide and lotsa communication as to progress etc.
  18. Nope, stock GT-T cooler is a very small cooler that sits in front of the wheel arch.
  19. Terminal's??? You mean mine Terminal has a gunmetal 33.
  20. I have rubber flaps a bit further back on my bonnet that aren't on the underside of Bass' bonnet. Mines a series 1 1998 as well just to make things more confusing.
  21. Gave you a trader rating on the 15th, although all the other lazy mugs don't seem to have . Will take some pictures once i get my digi cam back next week.
  22. Yes and passenger side air bag.
  23. Ok after breaking two ring spanners I managed to get my guide on. Fits very nicely and looks great. Sidchrome tools definitely worth the price as a side note. Will see what sort of temp improvements I see over the weekend. Thanks.
  24. Terminal, you were in the Black 33 GTs-t heading towards the hospital on Haydon last night? I was in the GT-T admiring your wheels. Really have to do something about the stockies on mine.
  25. Tried to fit mine last night and had a small problem....Not with the guide itself but with the bolts where it is attached. Both bolts are made of very very soft metal and started to burr as soon as i started to undo them. As I don't really want to destroy them I didn't proceed any further. Anyone else had this problem?
