  1. Please make sure you get a compression test done before handing over your dollars!
  2. 197rwkw. Auto with FMIC, EBC, Pod, Exhaust, Dump, unichip, 12psi.
  3. Would have been me on the parkway southbound.
  4. Boost won't net that much gain if you are running the stock exhaust. First would have to be a turbo back exhaust and intake.
  5. I have Tein HAs in my 34 and they don't make any hissing sound whatsoever, nor a knocking sound. As you go over significant bumps you can hear the shocks moving but no hiss nor knocking from the front. I'd get them checked over.
  6. Do I sense a respray for the beast?
  7. Manual 34s are not really coming down in price at all. Basic one in good condition are still ~35k. Another point is that many of the parts are actually interchangeable so you could possibly return yours to stock? eg Front Mount and piping for 33 will fit a 34. I love my 34, I still look forward to the start and end of the day when I get to drive to/from work. I really don't understand the no wing look on the 34s, can't say I'm a fan at all.
  8. They don't have a chip in the key. The electronic keys they are referring to are for the remote central locking.
  9. Something sounds amiss, it should not be possible to hit 1.1 or 1.2 bar with the stock ECU. It will hit boost/fuel cut before this and prevent it happening.
  10. Sorry, didn't mean to come across that way, just meant to catch up I would of had to, and like you I don't want any speeding tickets.
  11. Or some just keep going around the dial down into the odometer.
  12. Blueprint went around the corner to the parkway just before me when you spotted that Black GT-T. Tried to catch up but didn't want to speed.
  13. Vice city is most definitely the best of the three later GTAs. San Andreas just didn't do it for me. The ghetto vibe and the dull colours made it hard to focus for me. Whilst I tried to play Vice City through to 100%. I didn't really like FFX-2, thought FFX was much better, especially if you tried to max out things like the monster arena and the dark aeons. I have quite a few PS2 games and most find themselves played for a few hours and then tossed to the side, the exceptions that get played to the end have been: Final Fantasy X Devil May Cry 3 Gran Turismo 3 and 4 Grand Theft Auto: Vice City SSX 1,2,3 Metal Gear Solid 2 - Really not a fan of 3. The jungle environ sucks big time and its too hard to see guards. I have not come across a good FPS on PS2. FPS more designed for a pc imo.
  14. It doesn't like going over 1 bar because the stock turbo should not be boosting anywhere near that level. It is absolutely at its maximum efficiency at 12psi. You should lower the boost to 12psi and you will find you will make the same power, smoother and no more boost/fuel cuts.
  15. Welcome! I'm the poor sucker who never gets to come to cruises due to too many working hours.
  16. No they didn't impound my car. Still waiting for the ticket in the mail. They were trying to tell me I was doing 110 in a 60 zone. Which I sure wasn't - firstly it was an 80 zone. They said they could take my car for doing a burnout and I replied I didn't do a burnout and she then said she was going to cover it under neg driving. I was thinking of arguing further but thought that was probably the best compromise I could get. The federal police definition of a burnout is: burnout means- "(a) in relation to a motor vehicle other than a motorbike-operate the vehicle in a way that causes the vehicle to undergo sustained loss of traction by 1 or more of the driving wheels" I'm a little confused how they judge the sustained factor. What is their definition of sustained?
  17. Actually Vuster has quite a good thread going discussing how his beast would run against some skylines. Generally if you have an open mind then you get the same response from us. Myself I quite like the xr6-ts and I know a bit about them as my mate with one won't shut up about it. He did a deal with MRT to be a guinea pig for their edit testing and is making 225rwkw.
  18. It is neg driving unfortunately. I got done for it on saturday night .
  19. As long as they don't scratch my wheels this time.....or take 4 times longer than they quoted...... Hopefully these problems resolved under the new mgmt.
  20. Enjoy blowing your engine with the 8psi or 10psi maps. Injectors and fuel pump way out of capability at those levels. Valve springs and the aforementioned need to be replaced before you run that sort of boost on the XR6-T. Although it is scary how much power difference the edit can make.
  21. Stock Xr6-t pulls 180-190rwkw on the dyno.
  22. Over time the ECU apparently drops ignition timing to compensate for things such as bad fuel/hot weather/knock etc. Resetting the ECU resets these values back to their optimums, eventually they will go back.
  23. I'll second the vredenstein sportrac's. I have them on the front of my car and no matter how hard I throw the car into a corner, the front will not slide. Also under really heavy brakeing they have great grip so won't activate ABS unless you are literally standing on the brakes.
  24. Awwww, my coilovers re-adjusting my kidneys is all the comfort I need.
