  1. If you've got a PowerFC you don't need a SAFC.
  2. Energy Australia are currently doing door knocking in the ACT. Not sure if it was possibly some of these guys? Although wouldn't explain why they were asking about the cars nor the lack of identification. Girl that was at my door had clear identification though.
  3. Do not try and buy anything off GDTNO, he is a known scammer and fraud artist.
  4. BOV replacement will do nothing. Stock item is fine.
  5. I'm looking for a big plasma/lcd at the moment. I will be in sometime to have a look see.
  6. I lost it on a roundabout today at 30km/h, christ those roads are insanely slippery. Only slid about a metre and didn't hit anything but it scared the hell out of me.
  7. Send a PM to Envisage. He badly damaged his and sold it to a company in Adelaide, he will be able to give you the contact details for them.
  8. Might be worthwhile checking out the rs liberty club website. They often have GT-Bs advertised for sale in their forum.
  9. Stock GT-T Flywheel (Nissan quote) 206kw At the wheels probably about 150kw
  10. My stock boost gauge in my GT-T has developed a mind of it's own recently. Intermittently it will just stop working completely and the needle will drop to the bottom of the gauge. My Greddy gauge keeps working fine when this happens and I often won't even notice it because I barely look at the stock gauge but I don't like things not working in my car. Any ideas what could be causing this? Also exactly where does the stock gauge plumb into the engine so I can check if there is a loose hose? Thanks
  11. My sincerest apologies if I insulted at all, was not my intention.
  12. Sorry to go off topic, but I'm thinking of taking my car to a track day in the upcoming months, so I'd love to come check this one out if I could? Whos hosting this one?
  13. Do they fit on your GT-T? Offset's aren't really right for it.
  14. A new exhaust has a very distincitve smell that lasts quite a while.
  15. No, no he didn't. If it rolled that figure, then it rolled that figure and congratulations on a great figure. I'm not trying to accuse anyone of anything. As I said a few times I have a sneaky suspicion that his car is very very far from stock and has got lots of hidden goodies in that engine bay.
  16. The reason the rear tyres was rubbing is due to the GTR having a completely different offset to the GTS-T. You can fit plenty wide tyres in the guards with the correct offset, but the GTR offset is not what you want. As for the dimmer switch, its for the dash lights only not the headlights, and can be done quite proffessionally. Mine had one added as part of compliance and you can't tell it from a factory job. And Angus is comment is wrong, there is certain stipulations about a car having to go over Dickson even if it has been registered elsewhere. This use to be all imports and all cars 10 years or older. Worth double checking the exact rules at the moment.
  17. A stock GT-T will pull about 160-170rwkw. Stock turbo and bolt on mods good for ~200rwkw. Anything above this will require upgraded turbo or high flow. No chance in hell that a stocker will ever reach 234kw. Either there are some serious goodies in that engine bay or your dyno figure is very optimistic. Please don't think I'm trying to have a go at you, I'm just very curious as to how you got such a very high figure.
  18. 234kw at the rear wheels? Thats a very very high figure for a near stock GT-T. Where was the dyno run at? Sure you haven't got a GTR in disguise? What colour is your GT-T? Keep seeing a few more around the place. I've got all the basic mods and can't decide whether I can start the more expensive side with diminishing returns. Blitz front mount Profec B EBC 3.5" turbo back exhaust Dump pipe Unichip and unichip boost module Oil cooler Apexi super intake Currently making 197rwkw at 12psi.
  19. Sorry I have to have a chuckle at the BOV comment. Nearly every turbo car has one from the factory but they are generally plumback type instead of the aftermarket atmospheric ones that you are assosciating the term BOV with. A BOV prevents damage to the turbo and is something you should have.
  20. If it says its UV glass then it is the actual glass that is dark, there is no tint at all that can be removed. They put a note on my rego inspection stating that it is beyond legal darkness but not much can be done because the rear windscreen contains the antenna so it is not likely that they will make you replace it.
  21. Sounds like the usual popping noise due to some excess fuel in the exhaust. Mine does it all the time, nothing at all to be concerned about.
  22. For a stock wheel they are so sexy, but also so expensive! Toyed with the idea of getting some until I realised how expensive they are. Think I need something dished instead.
  23. There are actually quite a few decent r33 gts-t for sale in Canberra at the moment. Prices have been pushed down a lot lately so you could find some really nice examples for the 17-20k mark. Do NOT goto any of the dealers in Fyshwick. The insurance quote is about right, but take a good look at the excesses and the modification policy, I have an additional $400 excess due to modifications. Rego was $684 last time I paid. May have gone up a little since then. As sigsputnik said come say Hi in the ACT forums.
  24. May want to double check if it is tint or the factory UV glass. The factory UV glass is very very dark but is not tinted. I thought I would have rego problems with it but as its not tinted and couldn't be removed they had no choice but to pass it.
