  1. Mine had the same issue that Dan had with one of the shift solenoids in the AT dying. Previous owner had them all replaced and hasn't happened since. Other thing it may possibly be is the mode (failsafe i think) where the computer detects "Excessive wheelspin or braking" and puts the transmission into failsafe? mode. The exact details are in the manual I copied for you.
  2. Good old EDS is a bit tight with their restrictions?
  3. Yes I know it's far too cheap. My mistake for posting thinking it was a stock cooler not having cleaned it up, then realising it was a Trust unit. I don't really mind, someone can pick up a bargain at my expense. Well not even really at my expense because I didn't even realise it was there (neither did the previous AUS owner of the car!).
  4. Gtrghostdog, Yes the cooler would be more than adequate for that setup. You will need the short 90 degree pipe and a silicon reducer and two clamps as well. These are included in the price. http://home.iprimus.com.au/nrodwell/hoses.jpg But Razorsharp is in the process of putting a deposit down so if that falls through I'll let you know.
  5. Unfortunately thats a bit of a "How long is a piece of string?" question. As it is a much thicker core you should expect some power gain, and less heat soak, however the exact % will vary for each car. The intercooler is not the limiting factor in how much boost you can run, its the turbo and all the support systems. For reference though, I was running 13psi on it with no issues.
  6. Phantom, No idea if it fits in an s14 as a direct swap, sorry. Leech, I've got lots of people interested but no-one 100%, so if you're keen you can have it.
  7. Ok heres some better pictures showing the stamping on the top and bottom. Ignore the dirty garage carpet. Size of the core is 240mm long x 190mm high x 100mm thick. http://home.iprimus.com.au/nrodwell/trust1.jpg http://home.iprimus.com.au/nrodwell/trust2.jpg
  8. Guys, I obviously didn't pay much attention when I took off my old intercooler to replace with my fmic. Was giving it a clean today to get some photos and found it is actually a Trust cooler. I'm selling it here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=66487 As its a bit of a bargain at this price and an upgrade for any of you 33 owners you can have preference on it if you are interested. Saves me having to send it interstate too. Cheers Nathan
  9. Well I just went and cleaned it and gave myself a bit of a surprise; it is actually a Trust cooler not the stocker. Obviously replaced in Japan before the car got here. Trust is stamped on the top and bottom. However since this is much much bigger(and also worth alot more) than the stock 34 cooler I am going to make the price $250 ono and buyer pays postage. Pictures linked, you can barely make out the Trust stamping due to the flash on the camera but if you look closely it is there. http://home.iprimus.com.au/nrodwell/IMGP0171_2.JPG http://home.iprimus.com.au/nrodwell/IMGP0172_2.JPG
  10. --Edited (I thought I had a stock cooler, silly me) Cooler is actually a Trust intercooler. Perfect upgrade for 33 or 34 owners. $250 + buyer pays postage.
  11. And me? I guess I'm the semi odd one out. Congrats on the sale John and gl with the property business, hopefully a bit more interesting than our engn backgrounds.
  12. He did say they were already JPEGS...... You can have quite large JPEGs if the resolution is very high. In this case you are going to have to compress them/resample them at a lower resolution. Most semi decent image applications will let you specify the quality vs compression ratio when converting to JPEGs. A free nice little program that can do this for you is ACDSee. JPEG is lossy compression so you may need to experiment a little to determine a medium that still retains image quality with significant file size reduction. Hope thats a little help.
  13. Just a minor typo; the codes for the ultimates should end in ULT not ADV. Your prices are quite cheap in comparison to what I have seen. And just to let GT-T owners know, the 33 GTs-T pads are the same as the 34 GT-T so these will fit a GT-T.
  14. $410 for a year?? Holy hell that seems expensive, and here I was whining about $150 for Oztag.
  15. r00line, sounds like Abo Bobs 34. He lives in Sydney but is down here quite frequently.
  16. To add some more fuel to the fire. I find it really hard to induce oversteer on a corner at those speeds unless I really give it a hell of a lot of throttle. But it has a lot to do with suspension setup and tyres etc. Maybe your tyres are starting to get worn on the inside? I noticed a lot more oversteer when my old Toyos were getting a bit thin on the inside.
  17. I have one, just upgraded to a Blitz LM kit. Looking at around $200 for it. If interested PM me.
  18. hehe, no worries. Just spotted a silver line with NSW plates with a shiny new Hybrid cooler and thought it might be you.
  19. Sounds ok. I bought a Blitz LM kit and fitted it myself for $1320 all up. I figure if I want someone butchering my front bar/support it may as well be me. You don't happen to own the Silver line I saw in Dickson last night?
  20. Exhaust gasket I wouldn't worry about doing unless it is a major leak. Quite a few parts need taking off to get to it and unless it really needs to be done it isn't causing any damage. It will get worse over time but mine has been ticking due to a small leak for over 6 months now and it hasn't gotten any worse. The wording on the ECU could mean anything, I have some really funky stickers on mine too but nfi what it means. Not sure about the starting issues sorry. Congrats on getting the beast though. Hopefully it doesn't reach into your wallet every time you look at it like mine does.
  21. Methinks its time to buy an old arcade racer cabinet and install a ps2 with GT4
  22. If it's an aftermarket BOV it could be causing the idle problem itself. If it's not adjusted correctly it will cause idle issues.
