    That sucks so bad! I read somewhere ages ago that retarding timing and raising idle and adding fuel pressure will help reduce NoX.... Not 100% sure though. Good luck next time!

    I can't figure out who to goto to get a wastegate welded on... I'd personally prefer it welded on the manifold.

    Has anybody ever tried this? Seems like a good idea however you'd have to get new oil and coolant lines because they won't read the turbo...

    Congratulations on the clearance... Did they actually use any tools in this inspection or is it just a quick look over?

    Misfiring and leaning out would be the main symptoms... Eventually your injectors will also get ruined. Just go buy a bottle of octane booster/injector cleaner

    When I first bought my car, I forgot to change the spark plug gap and it cause the biggest and most retarded misfire. You sure you've gapped your plugs properly???

    Yeh - I wish I had read this post before I attempted it myself . Luckily the plugs for my ecu have a large enough gap to fit my probes.
