  1. 25psi by about 3950rpm with stock cams. Its suited to the engine fine.
  2. brand new head studs are only about $50 from nissan, i did that on my engine and its fine.
  3. as i learnt last weekend, adding higher octane fuel can drop power without any timing adjustments
  4. send me your email in pm, i compressed the internet into a zip file, i will send it to you.
  5. thanks for posting this. great read! It clearly says to me that he was shocked with the car and without praising it like he loves it he just bagged nissan for creating something that he never expected could be done.
  6. 14.7 works good for me
  7. Please tell me this is a joke.
  8. cheers paul. next time i see you il grab them off you see if they read any differently. I might just bite the bullet and buy Gizzmo KMON, Trent swears by it.... money worth spent.
  9. hahahhaaa!! Thats just crazy! what a rip!!! Sif pay that much per litre when you have close to double the consumption. You would go backwards unless its tuned properly.
  10. so 15% can change it that much ??? I guess that would have to be something i would have to test for myself as i cannot see how it would change that much with just a 15% mix.
  11. rb30det with forged bottome end.... in stock positions
  12. got any info and results and mix's they are running?
  13. Anyone have any experience with this ? I collected some data from my datalogit and found a dyno run, I found that both knock sensor read outs were different.... Knock sensor 1 and knock sensor 2 were like 20knock out from each other and one spikes to 100 and the other only goes to 60ish I know on high powered RB's the knock sensors become un-reliable.. We cannot hear any pinging or detonation while running on the dyno. I want to buy Gizzmo KMON but cannot afford it till next month i dont think.... Can anyone say whats going on here? or should i just forget about these readings alltogether? this run made over 350kw at the wheels.
  14. the damage allways happens during the high rpm runs... the engine can break anytime later.
  15. its a standard ecu... it won't damage his engine just cause him to lose power because it will go to a low octane map due to pinging. If its going hard at balls just take it to a dyno shop for a dyno run to test the AFR's $110 and if the afrs are ok then your right
  16. If your running .98's on cruise and .78's on WOT thats not that much of a difference to PULP, in AFR terms he is running about 11.466 on WOT, some people like to tune their cars to that with PULP. (my 363rwkw tune was at 11.1 afr) and thats about 14.4 afr on cruise.... Thats not a huge difference at all, and would bring major benifits to fuel economy. This sounds interesting... should go for a 20 or 30 % mix could we mix the stuff ourselfs?
  17. You do not want to use a 25 ecu into a RB25. Sure it could be done. But you would waste hundreds of $$ to go backwards. Buy a 20 ecu and whack it in.
  18. 360rwkw and more with standard cams. anyone who buys cams has lots of money to waste.
  19. this is going to bed a big day!
  20. i got em in my car.. made a big difference over the stockies
  21. I am going through similar issues. Down on power for NO reason at all. I was on the dyno today for a few hours.. have changed a few things just now, going back on in the morning. Good luck with it, i know how much of a pain in the ass it is.
  22. I am only still a salmon.
  23. i can probly help you out tomorrow for $50 but its in newcastle. 2wd only though
