  4. Haha not yet, just got back from sunny QLD. Replaced the front drivers side diff seal and new diff oil yesterday so hopefully no more leak Car is up in the air ready for me to switch out clutch for the new one.
  5. I'd go the tomei's, only because they have more lift and they give more torque from that compared to the HKS cams. Have driven R's with both.. Each to their own
  6. Love it!!!! Listen to the commentator haha!!
  7. Haters be hatin'
  8. Stock suspension is doing that to your tyres?! What tyres? What type of driving? Wheel alignment settings? My fronts are not too bad, the rear of mine was fairly bad even though mine is at vspec height. I found out the wheel alignment place was too lazy to adjust the factory rear camber bolts to the most positive setting, as you have to remove the diffuser.... I tend to drive pretty hard into, through corners and don't do much if any launching (that will wear the inside of the tyres quickly). I still want to put in camber bush sets in the back at some point though, especially if I go a little lower. Some wear comes down to driving style, tyre hardness, tyre pressure, wheel alignment etc.
  9. It'll be worth it, especially if you find that one that you want! Just go through it with a very fine tooth comb lol, there are some rough ones out there....
  10. Agreed, president got a flaming too on the drag day vid!
  11. Put in a location. Cheers.
  12. Yeah Nick I have ideas for the next stage, but $$$$$, I'll just max the potential of the current setup...for now How long before yours is back on the blacktop?
  13. You shouldn't block off the rear oil feed unless you are going to run a 26 head! Rear feed is need too as that feeds the hyd lifters as well. Run a 1.5mm restrictor in the rear. There is a thread on here somewhere about oil control mods and the different setups. Nice build by the way
  14. Wow, longest search/wait ever!
  15. Thanks Daniel, I think I spend too much time and money on it sometimes!...but when you get in and drive...
  16. Just the head alone: drill out oil returns open up rear oil returns hot tank hardness test deck, skim replace valve guides recut valve seats CC combustion chambers quick clean up of steps in the ports polish combustion chambers

  19. Meh....phone issues, you know.... So no tune for now. Rebuilt a Gmax nismo twin plate for it though, $400 a plate!.
  20. Oh snap!!
  21. 86.5mm so 20thou overbore. He's getting tomei type B springs with retainers.
  22. Paint damage to rear quarter panels happened to 2 cars when the tread body tore away from the carcass, little steel wires in the belts do a bit of scratching! We may look into some sort of plastic adhesive protective wrap to put over rear guards etc for a little coin, if you wish to really punish the tyres on the course....
  23. Right you are. If it was naturally aspirated there'd be no drama's, but runners are too short and plenum too small for NA anyways.
  24. More air into rear cylinders due to manifold design, and all cylinders get same amount of fuel= leaner air/fuel ratio at the back, more heat, more prone to det. Nismo plenum fixes it. We just run a bit more fuel in the rear cylinders.
  25. Lots of happy campers!!! plus I got to drive the 450sx for a few hours!!! 2nd gear launches FTW!! I'm a bit toasted, and I saw a lot of others in the same boat
