Yeah I have an external vct for the front. Center feed is blocked and rear feed is either 1.25 or 1.5, can't remember the exact.

Sorry for bumping an old thread pet vl, did you find a cause for your high oil pressure? I have a similar setup in my 25/30 but with a 25det pump and on the dyno I am seeing 8.1bar of oil pressure through a run. Oil temp is 82. I am using 10w60 edge

that manifold Lithium posted is mine and was built by SInco in NZ, its going on a RB30 with a 8375 on it. Mike from Sinco has made that manifold design for years and never had any issues. i went that route for cost vs performance. there is no proof that i have seen that shows twin gates will work any better than my 66mm gate setup like that. -

hi, sorry to drag up an old thread, has anyone had any issues when blocking off the fitting at the back of the block and blocking off the fitting on the back of the thermostat? i am building an RB30 and have blocked off: am i going to have issues with water flow when the thermostat is closed? -

who built it for you? i know of a RB25 R32 in wellington that runs a Masterpower R595 making 360rwkws on E85 with a massive powerband. don't know much about the GT37. -

nice work Joey, hows it feel to drive round even on the run in tune? -
when i was looking for an extended sump no one would provide pictures of their baffling and trap doors. i guess they want to keep their design secret for fear of people copying them. i have seen some of Race Fab's work and its top notch so would assume their sump will be the same for what its worth.

Thanks Screamer. That doesn't look like something I want going into oil. Have you had any analysis done on that to see what it’s made up of? What run in did you do on the fresh engine out of curiosity? -

Hi people, i have a question regarding catch can setups, i have put two -12 fittings on the drivers side of sump as high as possible with the intention of running one to the top of the catch can and the other to the bottom of the "strained" side of the can for a drain. my question, is it safe to run this setup when using E85, i have read that E85 will do nasty things to oil and the vapour out of the breathers has a heavier water content than regular gas. also nice pics GTRPSI and SSM cheers. very nice start, and very similar specs to my build but more aggressive cams (mine are Tomei PonCams) , what balancer and turbo are you planning on running?

was the rotational idle just for sound or is there a functional reason for it, from what i know about it, its normally used for anti-lag, mine is a while away, it was a simple RB20 build till that gave up the ghost, now it's getting a RB30 with those cams and some other bits. so you don't find it a hassle taking the flares off anytime you want to get in the back of the car?
