  1. Hi Dose, do you have the part number for the diode you used? i need to do this for my SSR before i cook another one...
  2. cars looking good, yeah the RE003's are a great street tyre. will have to try and do a cruise over summer
  3. very nice build Shoota, that is my sedan that Lith linked, and yeah i love my Sinco manifold, here is what my dump pipe looks like.
  4. i'm really looking forward to seeing what difference there is between the two. the car is rather rapid with the 8375
  5. forgot to mention, current specs are: RB30E block with S2 R33 RB25DET head CP 8.5~7:1 pistonsMRP rods, arp2000 boltsARP main studsOil pump drive adapterRB25DET oil pumpTomei 256 x 8.5 poncams (NVCS)Lightly ported r33 s2 headGenuine greddy intake manifoldVH45 throttle body6x XSpurt 1550cc injectors with flex fuel sensor150mm intercoolerSinco twin scroll exhaust manifold66mm precision waste gateBorg Warner S300SX 8375 w/ twin scroll .91 housing4inch exhaust from turbo to backVipec i88 ECU NZ Wiring cam trigger kit
  6. Some Mexico driving VID-20190907-WA0006.mp4 VID-20190907-WA0009.mp4
  7. Thanks RS, yeah it doesn't get many looks from people until I lean on it
  8. Cheers, plans are to enjoy it and get it to the strip and track to see what high gear and high boost feel like
  9. this is a copy and paste from another forum as my build has been going on for many years, but thought i would finally share it on here. I have owned the car for since 2002 and until 2007 it was my daily driver and has 254000kms on the body. during those years the car ended up with: Link GTS plug-in 255L walbro pump VG30 turbo FMIC 3" exhaust K&N filter Exedy 5 puk HD clutch the car was making 180rwkw's, in 2009 after the car sitting round for two years i decided to turn the car into a more track focused car so i went about buying bits. vr4 450cc injectors R33 RB25DET gearbox nismo 1.5way LSD BC red adjustable coilover shocks adjustable front and rear camber arms, whiteline sway bars adjustable front caster arms, rear "traction" rods locked hicas racetech 4009w seat monza harness and stripped interior the car was ready for its track day abuse it survived it's first track day so it got a new set of wheel and went back for more.... i managed to spin every bearing in the bottom end so it was goodbye to the RB20. that was in 2011 this started the long awaited RB30 build that i first started getting bits for in 2004. which has taken 8 years to do (two children, buying a house, getting married all done in that time) so new parts were purchased: all the ARP bits: a new Exedy triple plate clutch a Borg Warner s360sx turbo with a .91 twin scroll housing ethanol sensor Custom CP pistons 8.75:1 and MRP rods with ARP 2000 bolts the block was sent to Colliers in Levin for machining and balancing, then taken into my garage, painted and assembled some Tomei 256 poncams were added along with some Kelford valve springs clutch and gearbox fitted then it went into the car more parts were ordered, fitted and fabricated Greddy intake manifold -10 fuel rail double pass radiator 66mm waste gate Sinco custom RB30 twin scroll manifold custom 4" exhaust fabricated by a mate i then decided that re-wiring the car would be a fun thing, so my mate did all the hard work and i supervised. and so the car was ready for the dyno one run in tune and a full tune later the car is now road legal high boost (17PSI) on BP98 pump gas then we moved to Ethanol and on 60% got the below results and some videos and a video a mate did from a dyno day after the run-in and before the full tune when we made the car run a bar of boost
  10. time for an update, changed those 2200's to Xspurt 1550's which made a world of difference. do not use those 2200's... finally had the car back on the dyno and got some boost and ethanol into it. video of ethanol run here, and dyno plot below. High boost pump gas run
  11. awesome result Pete. now time for some videos of it running.
  12. yeah the lumpy cam idle. my 254's don't have any lumpy idle.
  13. hows the idle on the 262's? my Tomei 254's don't have much of a lope at idle, are you still running VCT with those cams?
  14. nice work getting it sorted. do you know what cams are in it now? i bet its a hoot on the road with the 7670.
  15. Nah it's not too bad, I am running a sinco twin scroll manifold for a rb30, they make the collector lower for the 30. A walk around of my setup. i tried to add a pic, but for some reason its not loading
  16. What website was that http://www.theboostlab.com/s300sx3-60-91-a-r-straight-compressor-outlet/ this is the turbo i got, the exchange rate was good at the time
  17. i have a borg warner s300sx with a .91 twin scroll housing on my rb25/30, and am getting a bar at 3700ish rpm, it makes 500hp on 14psi on pump gas. and cost less than 1k NZD landed
  18. Nah mine is just a stock brand new rb25det pump
  19. I too have the same problem with my rb25det pump on my rb25/30. On the dyno I saw 120psi through the run. I am about to pull my pump off to check the relief valve. Let me know if you find a cause for your issue
  20. Mine isn't lacking down low, I have 4.34 gears and an rb25 box. Setup is a rb25/30, twin scroll manifold, Borg Warner s360sx .91 twin scroll housing, tomei 256 poncams. Made 378kws on 14psi with heaps left in the tune. Vct was on the whole run hence the drop in torque
  21. RB 25/30 CP 8.5:1 pistons MRP rods, arp2000 bolts ARP main studs Oil pump drive adapter RB25DET oil pump Lightly ported r33 s2 head Tomei 256x 8.5 poncams Genuine greddy intake manifold 6x2200 injectors with flex fuel sensor VH45 throttle body 150mm intercooler Sinco twin scroll to manifold 66mm precision waste gate Borg Warner s300sx 83/75 twin scroll .91 housing 4inch exhaust from turbo to back Vipec i88 ECU with lithium choon On a rough time with vct on the entire run made 378rwkws on hub dyno video my mate made. Still more boost and ethanol to come. Just chasing an oil pressure issue.
  22. thanks Dale. the sensor is the same type that i have on my fuel pressure which from injector pulses is accurate for what we calculated the engine needed. that is the plan at the moment, try a mechanical gauge, then different oil, then if that doesn't work the sump will have to come off and see if the bypass valve is the issue. i see other people had issues with Edge 10w60 on their RB30's (cubes) so hopefully it turns out being as simple as the wrong oil
  23. Hi Dale, please see my answers underlined.
