  1. Over two years of ownership I thought I'd make a build thread as i don't have enough procrastination in my life as it is. up until this car I hadn't owned a car more than 6 months before selling it due to being bored of it or finding something else. Originally bought this car back in November 2012 as a means for a quick profit. The plan being to fix the little problems, swap the wheels and sell it. However as with most thing in life it did not go to plan... This is how it was when i bought it coilovers with chopped springs 1/2 turbo converted lenso D1r 18x11.5 +12 with 235/40/18 Horrible interior missing parts. First thing to go was the enormous wheels which just were not to my taste and did not suit the car in my opinion. in the mean time i put the lenso on my trike haha Bought some old school work wheels for $70 to roll on while I sold the lensos and bought another set. also put some stock struts with lowered springs in. Swapped the lensos for a few sets of wheels and cash my way. Included in the swapped sets was a set of R32 GTR rims Due to the excessive guard rolling that had been required to “fit” the 18’s and the ill-fitting +30mm vented fiberglass guards the gtr wheels sat a fair way inside. which is kinda funny on 4 door here is where i will leave it for the first post and will steadily update to present day over the next weeks
  2. 99' MK4 Golf GTI200,000KMRego: 14/11/19This little car would make a great runabout, there’s a few dings around the car and cosmetically is in fair condition as to be expected for a twenty year old car. Air con doesn't work. The car-- 1999 MK4 Golf GTI 1.8L Turbo 5spd Manual- Stage 2 Custom Code Tune, gives much better performance while keeping great fuel economy- 42DD 3" turbo back dump pipe and cat, 2.5" catback great note but not loud- 42DD colour coded pillar pod with Turbosmart boost gauge- Upgraded divertor valve- JVC CD/MP3 player with USB and Bluetooth handsfree, mic is included- LED lights in boot for increased visibility at night- Nolathane control arm bushes- Dub Addiction dog bone mount bushes- Custom floor mat set - Factory Recaro seats
  3. Thoughts on drifting daily car? Hey guys I am looking to purchase a turbo car for my daily drive and I want to get into drifting. I am just curious, considering I've never done drifting before, how often do you run into issues with your car due to drifting? Would you say its a bad decision to drift in a daily?
  4. Hi all, Some of you may know me as i have been kicking around these forums for the past 10 years I have made my way through a few RB nissans amongst several other cars. My first skyline, my 31 TI converted to manual and slammed, i LOVED this car! My second skyline was my first turbo car, 32 gts-t running around 220rwhp and many issues, I had a very love hate relationship with this car, it did however start my love for the 32. i moved onto the 34GTT from there and i did enjoy the 34, but always hated the silver and hated the auto. shame as it was such a nice car. The price i picked this up from prompted me but im glad i did. so on the hunt for manual parts and maby saving for a respray to white i came across the stag. RS4-S pearl white manual stag, so i moved over and again i loved this car.... maby should have kept this one... but oh well not an RB but i do like this one too, my 2014 SSV ute tweaked up and slammed, i do like the ute anyway onto the point. I have always loved the R32GTR being the best looking skyline, and always wanted to own one. as allot of them are pushing there 25th birthday i decided its time to own one before its just too hard. so i started my hunt which included every single one on the net and a few trips interstate to drive and view, often dissapointed. after flying here and here to drive a few i realised how old they are getting which is upsetting. without spending over 20 and pushing $30K a nice example is hard to find. i looked seriously into importing one but my future plan is to import an extream example of low km vspec 2 in white and keep it locked away. but for today i want something i can enjoy driving regulaly, do i opened my colour options up. luckily i did find this one, in sa so no roadworthy to deal with. confirmed original Ks and decent condition with a reasonable amount of history and mostly stock, it has its flaws but all in all a good base. so i drove this home my plans are to clean it up mainly. drive it and enjoy it, find whats wrong and slowly fix things. as its not a special model or build im not specifically sticking to total concourse original parts but i want to keep it mainly clean and correct. as always i will have MANY questions so this will also be my place to ask and pick brains so all help is always appreciated. more to come!
  5. Hey guys, so im currently in the market looking for a car. Ive been offered a NA R32, with 220xxx. Seller said no leaks or issues with the car other than minor paint fade. However, the car has 220xxx kms and im looking to use it as a daily. Apparently it is the orginial rb25de and hasn't been engine swapped. (How do i know this for certain?) Is it a good idea to do this? Also if the car is defected, i've seen horror stories with people having to sell them off as track cars (Why is that?) Please help me decide. He wants 7k ono, but im not sure if its the best decision tbh. Cheers
  6. $13750 Ono. Would consider swaps for GT-R with cash your way. I'm the second owner of this ex-Toyota executive vehicle, which features a full service history including receipts from 65,000 kilometres onwards. Currently done 120,000 kms. The combination of sport, luxury and efficiency make this a superb choice for almost any buyer. The 3.5 litre V6 with variable valve timing (engine code 2GR-FE) produces 200 kilowatts of power. This revered engine is still in use by both Toyota and Lexus and is matched with a silky smooth six-speed sequential shift auto. Features include: - Factory sunroof and sat nav ($4k option at the time) - Premium audio including four disc in-dash CD changer, integrated subwoofer with amplifier, eight speakers and 3.5mm auxiliary input - Smart start and entry. Keep your key in your pocket or handbag! - Two keys - Power windows front and rear - Rain-sensing wipers - Bluetooth telephone handsfree - Auto headlamps - Clear LED tail lamps - Dual zone climate control - Leather interior including front sports seats - Electric seats - Electro-chromatic interior rear view mirror - Reverse camera with front and rear clearance sonars - Rear power sunshade - Twin exhaust with chrome diffusers - 17 inch alloys including full size spare alloy wheel. I purchased this for my family in Feb 2016 and have travelled 55,000 trouble-free (and mostly highway) kilometres since then. Includes roadworthy certificate (RWC) and registration until 28 July 2018 for those buying in Victoria. Suits all sorts of buyers, especially families, and is even suitable for Uber. More pictures available upon request. Thanks for looking. Sean - 0409 433 587

  9. Hey guys, Finally got my full license so decided to purchase a turbo vehicle, always had a soft spot for 33's, may not be the crowd favourite or a boat at times but with some effort put in they can look Blake Lively or Sally Fitzgibbons. Just some previous car history: Owned my first love, an s13, best s-chassis imo with its lines and simplicity. N/A SR, pushed around 95-100kw with everything done do it so it was a ball to drive through the hills of adelaide and on the track, though inexperience + lack of power I did struggle to connect turns. Now to move on to the 33: Going to build this car with the mind set that I want to be able to run it on the track and still drive it to and from the track and also daily drives. When i bought it, mechanically is was real clean and tidy, the previous owner mainly took it to the shop to get parts installed, so at least I have the piece of mind everything is done right. The body though is something else, bit rough is few areas, but with some TLC and polishing it should come up good. Currently runs 196kw @ 14psi, which is more than enough power for the time being as im still learning how to drift, so I will be focusing more on the handling side of things. (^how it currently sits, after a light clean up) Firstly before i rego it, I'm just going to give it a clean up; Remove some stickers Clean up the headlights Polish and Wax Nardi Steering wheels with boss kit. Blast pipes Shifter cover/shroud thingy? ( the leather cover that goes over the shifter) CST Hyper Zeros 18x9.5 +23 Once registered I will start executing the build! first up I will put in a different set of coilovers ( thinking about BC racing coilovers, but have also heard good things about slideworks coilovers) upgrade the camber arms, toe arms, sway bars & steering lock. In the mean time i will be adding small things interior and exterior wise such as roof spoiler, boot lip, possibly different front bar(will try find a pic of what im after), rear pods, LED tail lights, weather guards and others misc items. Wont try to do anything else Engine and suspension wise after that, due to the fact I Haven't done a track day in it yet so unsure on what needs upgrading or what can stay the same. Hope you stay tuned!

  12. Hi Everyone, Up for sale is my immaculate Nissan Cube3. I purchased the car from IMG 3 years ago and was the first australian owner. I've used the car as my daily and it's never skipped a beat. I shopped around for quite a while and this was by far the cleanest I could find. When looking i drove both the 1.4 litre and a 1.5 and they are worlds apart. the 1.5 with CVT is much smoother and can easily tackle hills and freeway duties. Anyone buying a cube i recommend they drive both to appreciate the difference. Lastly I'm selling due to going overseas at the end of the year for 6 months. If it doesn't sell I'll happily store it while I'm away For Sale: 2005 YGZ11 Nissan Cube3 Colour: K44 light grey (quite rare) Mileage: 99,000kms INTERIOR: Cube3 is the 7-seater version. The seats also fold completely flat MOTOR HR15DE 1.5L engine came from the JDM Nissan Tiida with CVT transmission. PRICE $10,500ONO - No trades Contact: PM me or call on 0404097043

  14. Hello all, I have just imported a Nissan Cube. My priorities have changed and need money for house now. It is just having compliance finished off this week I have been told by the workshop. Car will be sold with registration. This is the first 1.5l to be complianced in Vic and is one of only a few 1.5l cubes in Vic (none on carsales atm). The 1.5l is said to be more efficient with fuel, has more power and sits at a much lower rev while cruising on the highway. Would make a really fun daily while the GTR sits in the garage for the weekend. The car looks like new and I had to raise my bid at auction significantly to get a quality car. The series 2 gets a bunch of updates including white dials, different grill, headlights, rear tails, etc. 2006 Nissan Cube cubic 7 seater Series 2, 1.5l cvt Black 4B Auction Grade - paid top dollar, auction sheet for proof 45,000km with dereg certificate and service history for proof Excellent condition in and out (looks new on inside) Smart key - dont need to use key to start Full electrics Dark interior Auto headlights Leather steering wheel Foglights $13,500 Neg Phone pics, will upload better later, Hubcaps are in the car. But would look pretty nice with some mesh rims instead
  15. Hi all Well I have been posting lots of questions and progress of my new Stagea. I plan to do a bit of work to her as I cannot help myself even with dailies so I thought I should make my own little build thread to keep my own little record, ask my stupid questions and share my new baby, so here goes. She is a Pearl white Series2 WGN34 manual 4WD RS4-S So how I came to own her, I have been slowly progressing through the skyline range as daily drivers, the first R chassis I loved was my R31 TI which served me well, purchased of an old guy and lightly modded to my liking. Sold this for my modified 32 gtst which I bought as I sold her, fully engineered at 220rwkw. Great to drive. Sold her for my 34gtt. Purchased of a mate stock and again lightly modded. The only issue with my 34 was the fact that it was silver and auto, neither of which I preferred. Playing around with the idea of doing another manual conversion and fixing bits of the body work up, I started on the lookout for a nice white manual 34 to sell into. While I was on my search the opportunity came about to get my hands on a factory manual RS4-S white C34 so I dipped my toes into the wagon world. A car I have always admired as I have always had a want for something a little different, something not every person can name off the top of their head …yes yes, nice Volvo mate. Mmmm Manual Random as f**k sticker which was since removed. No idea what it means. Bye bye 34 I was happy to get into a manual and happy with the car overall, she drove very well, servicing was good and up to date. It belonged to one of my mechanics mates, not a huge car person but enough to look after it and spend money where it was needed. Needed one hell of a tidy up though. The stag had a full turbo back exhaust, aftermarket wheels and the rest was stock so this is how she stayed for a while and took over my gruelling 700km per week daily duties. The clean-up began as this was in much need. The interior was filthy, these picks don’t even show how grimy it was. Seats were horrible, carpet needed cleaning, a few broken bits here and there which im working my way through but it did come with a simple boost guage, auto closing rear door, cargo blind and all electrics working a treat. Got stuck into it by hand with surprisingly good results. Which got a surprising amount out You can see the difference Just in the colour of the seats, again this pic doesn’t do it justice. The interior has been steam cleaned since but needs to be removed and done properly to make me a bit happier. I will be getting this professionally done soon. I have a work contact who spend 2 days removing the whole interior basically and going over every nook and cranny, something im still looking forward to. First real change was a simple swap over of wheels, the aftermarket wheels were not my taste and also I had just fitted brand new Potenza RE050 rubber on my 34 which were great and not something I wanted to loose, also a big fan of black wheels so on they went Got stuck into the paint and luckily it’s all in relatively good condition, a simple polish didn’t bring up too many hidden issues. Again it will get a full professional details soon enough. It unfortunately does have the usual stag rust spots, these are yet to be addressed Under mirror Rear wheel arch I Tinted the front windows Decided to stay legal meaning they don’t match the privacy glass in darkness but it dint worry me too much, looked better than the dicky front windows standing out and summer approaching Luckily through a local wrecker I picked up a pearl white dayz front bar, few chips and dents but not bad, gives it that more aggressive look for sure. The original front bar was a bit simple looking. Next on the list were the headlights, The driver’s side usual yellow fog cleaned up easily enough with a headlight restoration product and a good sealant. However they passenger side was losing its seal and condensation had gotten the better of the inside lens. This was as good as it was going to get without opening it up. So I bought a replacement from Fatz which cleaned up a treat. From . . . To Muuuuch better! Also picked up some eyelids, yet to fit
  16. Hi All, I'm looking to sell my '93 R33. I've had the car for over 10 years and it's been my daily drive. It's done 210,000kms and has been a very reliable car during this time and a lot of fun too! I've modified a bunch of things, such as the turbo, ECU, exhaust, etc... and it has about 330hp (250kW) at the rear wheels on 17psi of boost (tuned & tested by Sam at Dr. Drift in Tottenham - he is a master!). Below are some pics and a list of most of the modifications: - Apexi Power FC with hand commander - HKS GT2535 ball bearing turbo - 3 inch turbo back exhaust - Larger intercooler - 550cc injectors - Splitfire coil packs - Blitz Electronic Boost controller - Apexi Rev Speed Meter - Auto Meter Boost gauge - HSD Coilovers - 18 inch Drift R ROH rims (deep dish rear rims) - DBA 4000 T3 slotted front brake discs with Bendix Ultimate brake pads (discs and pads both recently fitted) - Set of stock rims and subwoofer box with amplifier (not currently connected) - Front steering arms and rear HICAS lock bar …and other bits and pieces that I can barely remember. It's a beautiful looking car and I always keep it in the garage. There are some minor blemishes on the bodywork, but they are not very noticeable. Mechanically the car is in very good running order. I've never been harassed by police for driving this car because it looks clean and stock standard. The car has VIC rego till the 20th of September 2014. I'm asking $7,500ono. The price is negotiable and I will consider any serious offer to buy (not interested in swapping). You're welcome to bring your mechanic along for an inspection. Feel free to contact me (Nick) via email or my mobile with any questions or to make an offer. 17. Item: R33 GTS-T 4 door auto turb Item Condition: Used, average paint for it's age but runs well Extra Info: Heyas, I have for sale my R33 skyline, it is a four door, it is turbo, it is auto and it runs. Is a very cruisy car to drive and stil has a fair amount of poke. The bonus is you can have a rad skyline and still carry more than one passenger that has legs! But seriously I did an oil change on it about 100km ago (probs about 3-4 months ago) and I just don't need it any more as I have another car to for my work. I bought this car to drive as a daily and had the trans replaced and some of the seals replaced at the same time. Had oil done a not many km's ago but 3-4 months. APPARENTLY had the timing belt done by previous owner but I can't garuntee that. Has an electric sunroof. Tinted windows (legal darkness) Mag wheels Electric windows Has awesome skyline floor mats (JDM!) (they are standard and have cool badges n stuff) All in all a great car to drive BUT....Bad parts It has the standard jap headunit in it so no radio but I have been borrowing one of those fm tuner things and it works fine, or you can listen to AM radio! You can have a free headunit that I have sitting here. The left rear electric window doesn't work. The right rear handbrake asembly has something wrong with it, makes a clunky noise over bumps but is apparently easy to fix (I have no idea and it didn't bother me) The paint is a little bit average in some spots. In summary: Nice car, it is no show car but if you want a skyline on a budget and you are a fixit type it's a score! Or why not finish it off and make a bit of money? Fairly firm on the price, but if you sweet talk me I may give in. Contact Details: call or sms 0418842599 Price and price conditions: $4000 http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/keswick/cars-vans-utes/1993-r33-nissan-skyline-gts-t-4-four-door-turbo/1036529695
  18. Selling my Wife's 2005 Maxima Ti-L as we have bought a 4wd. Might suit someone as a deluxe daily. I have it on gumtree for $9900 but open to reasonable offers. Shoot me a PM or 0403 555 339 Pics:

  21. Nissan Micra SUPER S (only 303 sold in Australia). 5 speed manual Air conditioning (Amazing) Power steer tinted windows. This car literally handles like a go-kart, I have surprised many import owners with its handelling ability due to the upgrades and lack of weight! The car averages around 6L/100kms and is an awesome daily. I initially bought this for a daily to save my other car but got hooked on it and ended up working on this lol.
