Guys look at the scoop in the bonnet nissan put, its 3 little crappy channels. Id go for the 2nd as its a single peice unit. Removable and easly serviceable. How well can a scoop flow really? As long as it ducts air into there, youll be sweet. If you want better flow, cut your bonnet like i did to mine, then you will have ultimate flow.

How Do I Replace Headlight Globe?
AlexCim replied to DellieB's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Just behind each headlight there is a rubber mat thing, under that mat is a screw in globe holder, unscrew each one and replace the globe. -

Thinking Of Fitting An E-boost
AlexCim replied to oxford1327's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
What the hells wrong with the jaycar unit? I think its a very VERY good unit for the price. Its VERY tuneable, accurate and cheap? I dont really see why anyone would want something else really? Like, I see why people want expensive exhausts, turbos etc because they are actually well, "worth it", but the jaycar unit is pretty adaquet IMO? How far can a $600 GReddy boost controller take you? 600>130 by 470= ~1/3*turbo where when turbo=1, face= -
Hello From The Uk - Any Advice Welcome!
AlexCim replied to Hum@nzee's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Its not a fairly common import here, it just happens that everyone on this Stagea forum is a Stagea owner... 1. Not sure, but ive seen ones with them of an they were fine 2. Nissans your best bet, but get ready for a heart attack. We havnt worked out what we are going to do about it here either. 3. Either are fine, one guy here has 19's and they sit fine. Id get 17's just for the ride, but 18's are a definatly better fit 4. The exhaust from the cat (including) forward is the same as an R33 GTST. Catback will need custom/from japan 5. There is no real benefit of an aftermarket BOV until you are running mega boost and it leaks. Nothing is proven yet about prolonging turbo life, but why would nissan put one there stock if it didnt do anything? 6. The turbo is down the passenger side of the engine. It is under an L shaped heat sheild. To see the turbo you need to remove that sheild. -
Ill tell you know, if you can drive the auto right, its pretty quick through twisties and many other cars will struggle to keep up. when i rebuild my auto, i will get keas to work on it. They say they have packages for whatever power needs you have.

Nissan Stagea Rs Four V (1/24) Model
AlexCim replied to emanuelt's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I would beleive the stuff used on tail lights would work a treat. I bought paint to paint the windows, but i am scared to do it as i fear it will become streeky (sp) Thats why I sprayed the body. Ive got to get around to painting all the interior, then i can start to glue her together. The bloody underchassis is complex as too, the suspension and all. I will try to finish it during my easter break, after all my assesments. -
Yeh, I noticed the dials too.... Hmmm, wonder where you get those from?

I Have A Ticking Noise? Help Please
AlexCim replied to toxic's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
"Just" Theres your issue Paint some black paint on your pipe, then start it and see if it rubs any of the black paint off. I know because my pipes are painted black and the paint gets taken off. Put some sandpaper there to wear it down. -
I Have A Ticking Noise? Help Please
AlexCim replied to toxic's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Cold or Warm starts? Could be the lifters just getting their first sqiurt of oil for the day. Alternativly, the stock injectors are pretty damn loud on RB's? Could also even be the fan hitting against a pipe (in my case FMIC) or wire thats loose? -
i think its a VERY decent price. Only 3k what i paid for mine, albeit i bought mine almost a year ago now though. If i was in the market again, i would probably seriously consider it.
-
Give me some VIN's for those cars and ill do it in FAST. And, No, the wheels wont fit. Get some R34 GTT wheels, they fit over them AFAIK. Thats why i bought my GTT rims, to suit any future brake upgrades.
-
Looks fine to me the way it is? I dont understand the issue i guess. Let me know if you start making them, id be up for one if it was the right price

Nissan Infinity Q45 $6000 Wholesale Must Go
AlexCim replied to PRIMO's topic in For Sale (Business Traders)
Where in Australia is this car? -
What did you replace the fuel pump with? Ive got an 040 in there today. Workshop said the stageas totally different to anything else theyve put in (skyline etc included)
-
Well, youve rooted yourself much harder than that. The Stagea is R33 GTST/200sx rear. Its R33 GTR front, from what i remember written on my bilstein shocks when i put them in.
-
Isnt it a bad idea to put DOT 5/5.1 in DOT 4 cars as one absorbs something from something? Anyway, ive ordered some slotted rotors from Bursons, getting the rotors for $180 each which I think is a pretty damn good price. Going to order some Endless SSS pads if i can through the groupbuy running now here on SAU. No rotors in stock, so they are being made. Will take 2 weeks. So I will let everyone know my progress in future. I am also going to buy a home made brake cyl stopper from YahooJP, will ALSO let everyone how i go. For now, my rear brakes do not concern me as in the end, they are just rears. Lets see what some new pads, rotors and fluid does to the car. AP/Brembos might just be a little too much overkill on a 95% road car.
-
Oops, when i ment model change i ment 97/08, the month my car was built. So what fluid?

A must for any auto tranny driver - heat is what kills them. This new buy is a continuation of the previous group buy http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=105610 So, first to lay down the background, have a read of this thread about the ATF coolers. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=59399 Now, I can offer these coolers 678 DC coolers with 3/8inch fitings for $118 each plus postage and handling. Pickup available in Blackburn area in Melbourne, postage anywhere in Australia also available. Postage costs will vary. Handling fees will be fixed at $10 for each item (to cover bubble wrap, packing materials, going to the post office etc). Worst case scenario, to the middle of nowhere, postage will be ~20$ (Thats like postcode 0830 in NT). Sydney/Adelaide should be around $10, Melbourne $7, Brisbane $13. These RRP for $150, but you need to go pick em up etc, they are not delivered to your door (yes, i am THAT lazy ) This kit will fit R33's, R34's, Stagea and to the best of my knowledge probably R32's too. They are 3/8ths fittings with the largest universal coolers available. So lets get some names 1. timmay 2. 66yostagea 3. muchdesign 4. [sTAGEN] 5. Fra 6. Fastrotor 7. 8. 9. 10. Group Buy Closes in 3 weeks, but I could arrange prior shipping of coolers as required/payment received, as long as we get 10 people in the end.

Also just quickly, what DOT fluid should i put in my car. I know Castrol SRF, but DOT4 or 5 or 5.1?

Which Turbo Is Best For Auto R33?
AlexCim replied to aquariuz6's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Ive got a GCG turbo. Its not bad at all, really livens the car up. Will map most of the lag out with a DFA and EBC tune + cams will basically make it about as laggy as stock on about 15psi. Will be sweet
