  1. Thanks but minimum 8.5" wide needed. Preferably 9".
  2. Looking, looking,..............
  3. Look at the landing and takeoff speeds of light aircraft, simple.
  4. 9F/10"R would be good
  5. Need to be straight spoke type to clear big calipers, light weight, in sound condition, thats about it. PM or Email [email protected]
  6. Great news Will try and organise a few Datsun Z cars for this, maybe my own will be track fit by then too.
  7. To make up for the disappointing show by the new school Dattos, check out the Siddins/Ferguson 240Z. First in Early Classic, fifth in Outright Classic and first non Porka there
  8. Tried one set of DS2500, the linings started to disentegrate. Ultimates were a lot better, nice feel if a little hard on rotors. Only on the intrawebs have I heard praise for the DS2500.
  9. Down, down and bugger the roll centers
  10. Thats an excellent quality video, very instructive, thanks. Have to say you 4wdrivers miss out on a lot of 'fun' though
  11. And a link to some more http://www.v8central.com/snitz3403/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=23151
  12. Heard that it was a great day. Times? Pics?
  13. Paying some of the prices quoted in the $100's for brake pads seems ridiculous, are they platinum or something? Still I guess if people keep paying then they will keep selling at those ripoff sort of prices.
  14. Yeh well the usual class split is between road reg drivers with R tyres and trailer queen racers with slicks, there are lots of other events including sprints where this difference is recognised, why not here? Who is going to buy a set of S tyres and wheels for this? Not trying to knock the concept, it just seems that some of the rules are out of sync with expenditure already incurred for other events and classes. Hard to see the reason why.
  15. Basically its all about $, I'll back a same cost GTR against a M3 anytime. Jeez, I've owned stock M3's with an old Datto Z car, but spend enough on the Beemer and, shit, where did that thing go to. "Oh yes this car is stock except for a few minor mods" how many times have we heard that, usually from Eurotrash owners who have dumped $ on their badge hero to actually get it to perform, but still want to stay cool
  16. I'll pass this on to members of the Z Car Club, none of who frequent this forum unfortunately so no PM's. Hope the contact details are on the QR site
  17. Whats that got to do with the proposition?
  18. Hmmm, there is nothing magic about a M3, twoWD will lose every time to fourWD, everything else being roughly equal. I'm calling, ummmm, 'misinformation', maybe for commercial reasons, not unusual
  19. That explanation does not make sense to me, unless the Beemer is ultra light and the GT-R stock weight.
  20. He needs help, lots of it
  21. Can't quite believe this is going to happen, Lakeside back from retirement FTW
  22. We used to go to the Sprints there, $40 for the half day IIRC, turbo Datsun 260Z for the scare. Its going to be interesting to see blokes there in powerful cars who have only ever known QR, well maybe not the robot 4WD'ers, real cars, two wheel drivers
  23. Lakeside will be interesting for the powerful cars, last time I was there 220whp was enough to scare the serious shit out of me. The National circuit comment was about that layout particularly, its a lot harder on brakes than say the Clubman, but I was wondering more about the enjoyment factor. Or are you blokes too serious for that
  24. Well this is an unusual topic. Sarcasm aside, Mr Search is your friend PS its spelt 'squeal'.
